That is a scary story, if true.
We peons in the south (of AK) don't have a true concept of how huge they are.

Penny really doesn’t like the cold, but she has her beautiful warm purple coat that I got for her last season. We got bright sunshine, but it’s c-c-cold!

PFC James Pee Wee Martin: Battle of the Bulge & the Siege at Bastogne
PFC James Pee Wee Martin, veteran of G Company, 101st Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, saw some of the greatest action of the European theater throughout World War II. Martin and his comrades held the Belgian town of Bastogne as part of the larger Battle of the Bulge a vital objective in preventing the German troops from recapturing Antwerp. Martin reflects on his experience 70 years after he served in the war.

I hope you find something fun to do inside tomorrow. Oh yeah, sure...cleaning! LOL
Sounds like we'll have the same "fun". LOL It's been raining all day with more on the way. I looked out the window when I got up and the farm's already swampy.

Wish I could find something as simple for my Eada (Shepherd) to do to burn off energy when we can't get outside. Yeah, it's a little bit hard to play fetch in the house with a Shepherd! eek!

Haven’t seen any moose in my neighborhood yet this year, but then again, there is...was...practically no snow.
Now in the last 36 hours we have over a foot of beautiful white fluffy snow. And more is coming down now.

Kinda late, but Gut Shabbes!
We look like Alaska now...temps in the teens and more than a foot of snow...and it’s still falling.
How about you...any snow this year?

Because they have such long legs they often roll up the hood and into the front seat.
Wouldn’t be surprised at all that those in a smaller car were killed.
Friends were driving back from Fairbanks and hit a moose...took out their windshield and the front of the van. They escaped serious injury (the van rolled on its side) because it was a van and a little higher up.

We had moose in our yards all the time the 20 years we lived in Anchorage, but thankfully never had a car - moose encounter.
