Just heard them report that the France shooter "shouted 'God is Great' in Arabic" on Fox News radio.
Once and for all. This is not difficult.
It means “Allah is greater” (than your god). Not “God is great.”
Tongue in cheek. Commentary on the left’s interpretation of things, in my estimation.
I caught that! It really annoyed me.
Drivel
Their Allah never had a son.
To be fair ZULU, I think moova was being sarcastic.....

I gave up on this “three on a couch”, box of rocks news presentation long ago. Any guest comes in a distant 4th place to each of these 3 hosts who all need to ask the same pre-planned questions in a different way. I honestly get nothing out of their interviews. I’ll turn it on when there is breaking news, but that’s it.
PC phrase used on Fox’s America’s Newsroom at the top of the hour.
The problem is trying to equate Allah with God. There is no equivalence. Allah was created by God and named Lucifer. He has persuaded an ass of a man (”Prophet” Mohammed) to spread his ideology of hate.
“Its not Christian. What a foolish comment. Its Islamist.”
Should’ve used the “sarc” tag just for you.
I noticed that immediately, too.
I am pretty sure they meant it as sarcasm.
If you “say the words” you are (in effect) praising Allah (Satan).
"The Muslim warcry, Allah Akbar"
Ties it all in rather neatly and tells no lie.
CORRECTION TIME: “Allahu Akbar” is in the comparative sense. It literally means “God is Greater” It is the defiant declaration by Muslims of the superiority of Islam over all other religions. NOTE ALSO another fallacy floating around FR. “Allah” is NOT the name of some “moon god”. It is simply the Arabic name for God. It appears as such in the Arabic translation of the Bible and is used as such by Arabic Christians. All of the “experts” on FR spouting otherwise have no idea what they are talking about. FULL DISCLOSURE: I have lived in the Middle East and have studied Arabic. I was present when Bishara Awad, President of Bethlehem Bible College (where I taught at that time) set some American “expert” who didn’t speak a word of Arabic straight on that very point.
See my post. Check your Arabic Bible and you will see that Allah is the Arabic word for God. Its amazing how many gullible people around here pick up some totally unsubstantiated idea that “sounds good” and pass it along as though it were the Gospel truth. When questioned, they give as a “source” some preacher or whatever who knows nothing about the Arabic language and are simply passing along the same nonsense they heard from some other supposed “expert.”
So, how do you say “God” in Arabic then? What word do Christian Arabs use for the Creator?
