Are you sure at this point that Mystery is a male? I sure hope so! But if not, that would explain Ghost’s behavior.
But Lil Bit would be inclined to go on the attack.
It really doesn’t feel all that bad tonight, even with the wind. I guess it’s because it was so darn cold the last couple of days. We’ll take the wind if it means not freezing to death. LOL
There’ll be no flip flops for quite a while, much to my tooties’ dismay.
I would say upwards of a hundred. Maybe this weekend I can get a picture in daylight and before I cast out the first bucket of cracked corn trying to spread them out.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Dang! I had no idea there were that many!
Word’s gotten out about where food can be found. LOL
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a donut?
Cookies?
Veggies?
Snacks?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Warmer here but we have some good kite-flying wind the next few days. Just going to be too soggy for it.
Did you and Gizmo make it back out to the lake and was his energy level back up to normal? :-)

Happy Friday, E...((HUGS))...good weather for getting out today?
You guys have a good day.
I’m totally NOT sure what sex Mystery is. That’s the mystery. LOL! Li’l Bit doesn’t like him, because he bullies her out of her food, but she’s smaller than hie is, so doesn’t challenge. I call him “he” for expedience sake.
I guess that particular wind is blowing warmer weather your way. Kind of like ours has for the past 3 days. Tomorrow will be a different story.
I’ll bet it’s quite a sight when they’re all there. And quite a ruckus!
If it’s a no-no, it appears none of your neighbors are tattling. No way they don’t know the ducks are showing up. :-)
The creek runs through a couple or three or four neighborhoods, so I’m betting that they are dining in more than one place. I know they are not here all day just from watching on the weekends. But they do know the sound of the garage door and when I turn the kitchen light on they know for sure that I am there and make it known LOUDLY that they are hungry.
The face does have a male look to it - - a little jowly.
Li’l bit needs to take lessons from Suvi. She’s tiny but that doesn’t stop her from running the others from the food dish when she wants to eat alone. She’s a spitfire.
Yes, the wind’s from the south and has a lot of warm air with it. And moisture. The weather folks blew it on the temperature predictions earlier this week but they’ve been on target about the rain build-up. It’s building up tonight exactly as they said it would.
There’s no telling how many other folks they’ve trained. LOL
I’m sure there are ducks in this area but I haven’t seen any around the farm. There are a LOT of Canadian geese that decided they like it here better than up north and live around the lake year-round. They cover our fields after harvest to eat grain that fell during the combining. It always makes me think of the Wizard of Oz when they’re out there because they sound like the witch’s flying monkeys. LOL
Well, she does run the kittens off, but this guy is pretty rough I guess. Anyhow. I just try not to encourage him.
Guess I’d better head out. Peaches was a pain last night and he’s in again, so I guess I’d better get my rest when I can. See ya tomorrow night for some tunes? Geez. Still have to figure out what to play.
We have storms in the forecast later today and tonight. We do plan some lake time before then.
The kittens know she’s Da Boss. LOL! Now she just needs to get brave enough to let Mystery understand that too.
Good luck getting decent sleep tonight!
I haven’t thought if what to play tomorrow either. Need to put the ol’ thinking cap on in case I decide not to go out tomorrow evening. Haven’t been out in a while and the thought is there.
Glad y’all had a good time. I hope the storms hold off long enough for you to get to the lake today.
We have rain and possible thunderstorms in our forecast for the next two days. The storms are fine as long as there are no tornados with them this time! We haven’t finished cleaning up from the election day tornado.
