I think that, regardless, there are a lot of Americans who believe the courts are disregarding the law in order to make a partisan point. The judges may not agree, but they need to heed the threat that they face as a result of the declining public trust in the rule of law. And it wasn’t Trump that caused that lack of trust.

Also, it would be really great, if the cowardly Congress Critters would do their job, and reign in these black robed tyrants. They are supposed to be the weakest branch of government.
Yet, time and again they rule that the laws that the people support are not “constitutional” in order to make rulings that the majority do not agree with and do not want to live by.
Thus they have made themselves into Kings and Queens laying down edicts. If we wanted a King, we could have just stayed in the British Commonwealth. ffffttt a pox on them.
That is entirely possible. Was thinking about posting yesterday that it might be prudent to not piss off Roberts until Trump is able to restore balance.

Roberts opening his big mouth about judges being independent & non political is now going to shine a light on every decision the SC makes, especially his opinions. Let’s see how impartial he really is.

Judge Roberts has turned out to be Ruth Bader Ginsberg clone. Appointed by a republican but acting mostly like a liberal.
I’m just as frustrated about Roberts an anyone. I wish I knew what they have against him that would blackmail him. Honestly, I’d like to know so it can be brought out in the open.
Roberts is a pure establishment creature. He virtue-signaled to his fellow Washingtonians. That is all.
The rumor I’ve heard repeatedly is that the kids he adopted were not adopted legally and not only could he be criminally charged but his kids permanently stigmatized
Roberts 2005: “I will just call the balls and strikes. I won’t rewrite the rules.”
Roberts 2018: “The strike zone is whatever I want it to be, not what the rules say. I’ll make up the rules as I go along. And I won’t tolerate criticism of any other umpires who likewise want to make up their own rules to favor their favorite team.”
