Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, on Wednesday lashed out at Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts for issuing a rare statement about President Trump, accusing him of staying silent when former President Barack Obama was publicly critical of the court's Citizens United decision.
"Chief Justice Roberts rebuked Trump for a comment he made abt judge’s decision on asylum I don’t recall the Chief attacking Obama when that Prez rebuked Alito during a State of the Union," Grassley tweeted of Roberts, who was appointed in 2005 by George W. Bush and is regarded as one of the court's conservative members.

Chief Justice John Roberts is leaning left more and more. Trump was right. He was another Obama appointee. Seems the Obama appointees are hell bent on trying to get in the way of everything Trump does or says. John Roberts just joined in.

This Thanksgiving I’m thankful for Chuck Grassley, Lindsay Graham and the American Voters who left control of the Senate with President Trump so he can appoint at least one more conservative justice and render the current Chief Justice and his opinions even less relevant.

Maybe Trump should be looking into whether or not Roberts adopted those kids legally.

My guess is that he has sided with us more often than not. This is just a guess on my part, I have not researched this.
However, he royally screwed everyone by rewriting Obamacare.
I personally cannot forgive him for that one.

I wonder if its possible for Trump to “pardon” roberts for his illegally adopted kid? This seems to be the source of the lefts power over him.
It is my impression that each Supreme Court Justice is supposed to be politically neutral!

I don’t think Roberts is correct. How many 9-0 rulings has the Supreme Court had under Roberts? What is the percentage?

I am not familiar with Roberts’ voting this past 2 sessions in which he voted with the liberals 5-4, 6 -3.
