Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, on Wednesday lashed out at Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts for issuing a rare statement about President Trump, accusing him of staying silent when former President Barack Obama was publicly critical of the court's Citizens United decision.
"Chief Justice Roberts rebuked Trump for a comment he made abt judge’s decision on asylum I don’t recall the Chief attacking Obama when that Prez rebuked Alito during a State of the Union," Grassley tweeted of Roberts, who was appointed in 2005 by George W. Bush and is regarded as one of the court's conservative members.

I think something, or some one, affiliated with the obama administration has compromised CJ Roberts, and he should resign, and step down. Every one of his rulings involving Trump and/or obama, will be suspect going forward and he doesn’t need to be there.
Spare me the BS. He's not a conservative, he's not a constitutionalist. He's judicial activist. ...albeit a slightly more moderate one than Ginsburg, Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer.

I was expecting the GOPe to side with Roberts.
He just proved how politicized the SCOTUS is. All the comments by Ginsberg about Trump and our Constitution show she should not be there. But since she is a LIB, it obviously doesn’t matter. And Obama was NEVER criticized, no matter what he said........anti-America or anti-Constitution.
He didn’t want to be called a racist at Thanksgiving dinner.
Chief Justice John Roberts didn’t atand up to Obama because he didn’t have the liberal mob behind him making him feel like a big thug...
