Roy Clark could shred a guitar, banjo, and just about anything else. Saw him do a jaw-dropping fiddle solo once.

I am going to feel like a total idiot if this turns out to be a hoax, but it is being reported multiple news sites. Right now, to ME, it looks like a premature press release was issued or leaked YESTERDAY on 11/14/18 so that quote I posted was the effort to quell that. He did, apparently, die TODAY, 11/15/18, of pneumonia, and that is what is now showing. I GUESS!

Until about 1975, we could just dial the last 5 of the 7 digits. (then the phone company replaced the mech relay switch with an ESS...)

As a young punk-style rocker in the sixties I will now admit to watching Hee-Haw. Roy was the best guitarist I’d ever seen. Bar none.

I confess, I hated Hee Haw as a kid. I didnt really appreciate these guys until much later on Same here. Now these guys are regulars on my play lists. They were masters of their craft.
