That may be why governor of Florida, Rick Scott did not have the courage to fire the incompetent part hack running election in Broward county.

You should realize that the Supervisor of Elections (SoE) office is an ELECTED one governed by the Florida Constitution. It takes a major effort to remove such an elected official and then, if successful, given these counties Democrat Majority, you would get the same with a different name. I'm sorry but your wish would founder on the reef of practicality!

PS: there are 3 counties involved here, so you think Rick Scott could have done it for all three?

For what it’s worth, Republican’s have helped bring this corruption on themselves.

Recent history is replete with examples of Republicans giving a pass to the criminal activity of Democrats. Anyone howling about Seth Rich’s murder? Oh, you’re a conspiracy nut. Obama’s birth certificate? Same Hillary’s illegal server? Investigate and pass. Hillary in Benghazi? Investigate and pass. Obama’s illegal use of the IRS? Pass. Obama’s illegal us of the FBI, CIA, NSA? Pass.

And why should anyone ever wonder why Democrats always get a pass and are now brazen to steal elections out in the open. The corrupt MSM has their back. Some judge in Hawaii will help out.

The system is thoroughly corrupt and it is Republicans who have long turned a blind eye. You cannot escape the consequences of allowing only a little corruption. It always turns absolute.

The 2018 election year will go down as the year (A) Democrats took back the House, and, (B) the year democracy died in the dust.
Republican candidates won huge victories in Arizona and Florida---Republicans won by tens of thousands of votes.
Still smarting over losing 2016, the Republican wins brought Democrat vote-thieves out of their usual hiding places, and into the light.

Democrats in Arizona and Florida flagrantly invented (read forged) many tens of thousands of votes in an arrogant, criminal attempt
to steal these seats. Uncounted votes---or as they are criminally known "Provisional Ballots" -----were found in rental cars and trucks,
in an elementary school, and at an airport-----cunningly planted and timed to be conveniently found when Democrats calculated how
many fraudulent votes they needed to grab the Republican-won seats.

I appreciate the information.

How was Dean, who was such a moron, able to win back the house some years ago?

There must be at least ONE central structure that deals with the strategy of winning the house, no?

I know VERY LITTLE of how it works, so i’m just asking.

Again, thanks for all the info.

Lobbyists. Spit.

Don't forget Brenda Snipes was initially put in place by Jeb Bush! Thanks Jeb. Is this what you had in mind all along? Funnily enough, Snipes replaced the former Supervisor of Elections, Miriam Oliphant, who was fired for grave neglect and incompetence. So how is it, Gov Scott, that you haven't given Snipes the same treatment? Did you receive some type of assurance? Apparently there have been three whistleblowers from Broward County who have died relatively recently. Don't forget Debbie Wasserman and the Awan Brothers from Pakistan having access to all the Democrats’ information. I think this goes far deeper that a lot of people think.

“win for comic Democrat Al Franken by such tricks as discovering a full ballot box in the trunk of a Democrat poll worker’s car.”

Or in a room in a School. Why the hell is this obvious BS just accepted?

Snipes is collecting a paycheck from State of Florida. The governor may not be able to fire her, but he surely can reform the voting system to make it more secure. He was governor for 8 years for crying out loud. And Snipes has previously violated Florida election law.

Are you telling me that an official of the State can not be replaced or at least sidelined after violation of Florida laws? If so, we are totally screwed.

We have speed of light voting machines coupled with a early 1900's registration process. The door for fraud stands wide open but IMO it seems an easy fix.

There are two parts and each is handled by a dedicated desk in order to not delay other voters:

1. In the absence of mandating voter registration cards, computerize the registration records to enable on-the-spot confirmation of registration (what doesn't the government already know about us?).

2. In the absence of OTS confirmation via card or computer:
a) allow provisional voting upon sufficient proof of identification and qualification to vote along with a finger print,
b) confirm the voter's registration promptly(prior to close of polls on last day of voting) for
i) timely tabulation of votes, and
ii) imposition of a heavy fine if no evidence of registration.

I said "easy fix" because I am not fully versed on all aspects of the matter.

YES, and then she has won re-election in 4 subsequent elections 2004, 2008, 2012, and again in 2016. A Democrat elected in a HEAVILY Democrat County. If you think that the Governor could easily remove an elected official and that it is desirable for him to have that ability, then you want a far more powerful government than I do.

It is always possible for there to be deeper conspiracies and I no longer dismiss such with the ease that I used to do so. The whistleblower death accusations are so new as to be no basis for Gov.Scott to have done something prior to this election. However to commingle Gov.Scott and the Awan Brothers is going beyond my sense of probity.

“Our nation is lost unless the fraudsters can be brought to justice.”

The World’s Greatest Superpower can’t even run a competent election. Hell, they are more efficient and honest in Afghanistan. No more provisional or mail in ballots. Only military and other legitimate absentee ballots. All voting should be in person with ID and purple thumbs. Harsh criminal penalties for fraud.

I thought I saw something posted yesterday about a box of “provisional” ballots being found in an Avis rental return trunk. Srsly? Boxes of “provisional” ballots? I might buy several dozen but boxes?

Snipes is collecting a paycheck from State of Florida.

NO SHE IS NOT, she is paid by the county of Broward. As for reforming the voting system, he has tried over and over. Look at the various law suits over the years. Scott has tried to get every county to purge their voting rolls of ineligible entries and the courts keep doing delays and allow county after county to avoid doing this.

Yes, Supervisor Snipes has been civilly admonished by a local judge for, prior to now 2016, violating the election laws. This is, obviously, not sufficient grounds for dismissal or to be set aside from office.

The one thing I do not know, and fault Gov.Scott for, is that there was, due to the 2016 Election Law violations, supposed to be an 'increased scrutiny' for this election. However, given that the local county law enforcement is under Sheriff David Israel (Douglas HS Shootings), any observer could be helpless without superior backup if a deputy bars him/her from the premisses.
