Heres some good news. You are about to get back that hour of sleep you lost last spring with the return of Standard Time.
Every Autumn, we say good-bye to Daylight Saving Time (often incorrectly called daylight savings time) and hello to Standard Time when most Americans turn their clocks back one hour.
Standard Time returns at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday November 4. That means if youre staying in Saturday night, youll want to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on November 3. If youre out and about at 2:00 a.m., set your clocks back an hour when you wake up in the morning.

DST is in effect LONGER than REGULAR TIME.... DST=7mo. REG TIME=5mo.
Hey, wait!
I want my hour back... PLUS A MINUTE OR TWO INTEREST!!
It's the same kind of reasoning that gives us all the alternatives to counter our climate change.
Always have to pull out the damn book to change the car.
“Remember this.”
Don’t have to. I live in Arizona and am not in the Navajo Nation.
I like Daylight Savings Time for a number of reasons. One reason is that if we stayed on Standard Time there’s be bright sunlight in my neck of the woods at 4:30AM in May,June and July.
Hope and pray daylight savings is gone forevermore. Saves nothing.
DST is vile.
You want more evening light? Get up & work earlier.
I want normal morning light.
Quit screwing with clocks.
Then six months later, when we take away an hour of daylight,

Nope! It is five months later! This is what ticks me off. It should be 6 months of one, 6 months of the other... But it is not. It used to be before George Bush Jr changed it in the early 2000’s. Spring Forward starts in March and Fall Back starts in November.
7 months of Spring forward
5 months of Fall back...
I love the Fall Back though, just wish it was equally balanced.
Thanks for the reminder.
I hate losing DST. I wish we could just continue with brighter evenings. I could live on DST always.
I like ending work in daylight.
No kidding. When I got up at 5 this morning, it was dark. Itll still be dark tomorrow at 5.
Man I hate early darkness.
It was the idiot Sen. Ed Markey from MA who pushed for the additional weeks of DST.
.
Lets just go on Zulu time.
I think you are right. I remember when clocks were turned back just before Halloween. I think that was better for the trick-or-treaters as they had an extra hour to collect treats.
Amen.
I haven’t had a Clock or a Watch for many years...
I just get up when I’m too tired to go back to bed after my third trip to the bathroom, I just make Coffee and Get Dressed and figure everything will work out OK.

It’s happening again in A FEW MONTHS!!!
