Heres some good news. You are about to get back that hour of sleep you lost last spring with the return of Standard Time.
Every Autumn, we say good-bye to Daylight Saving Time (often incorrectly called daylight savings time) and hello to Standard Time when most Americans turn their clocks back one hour.
Standard Time returns at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday November 4. That means if youre staying in Saturday night, youll want to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on November 3. If youre out and about at 2:00 a.m., set your clocks back an hour when you wake up in the morning.

How many clocks actually need adjustment any more? Almost all of mine automatically adjust. Only ones I have to update is car, oven, and microwave. Oh, we’ll to update light and heater timers for our bearded dragons. But I think that’s about it. No nightmare VCRs any more.

That’s what we’re doing - ending Daylight Savings Time overnight to be at regular time.

...and I really, really do not understand the problem with standard and daylight time. Once people get over resetting clocks, the move is overall good. People that can't handle the hour change are likely the same snowflakes that freak out when it snows, or rain after a few days of sunshine, or anything that might change their daily routine. The upside is good, especially the further north you live.
Seriously, if you have a beef about it, why? What specifically is wrong about it?

But it is not as easy to remember the actual dates when the changes occur.
I had no idea, until just a little while ago, when I saw the reminder on TV.
Then I did a search on FR to see whether the reminder has already been posted, but it wasn’t.
So I figured it is a good idea to remind people who may not have seen it elsewhere and it is starting tomorrow.
