One should not assume that all Democrats are voting for Democrats.
We are truly living in historic times. A non-politician is president, the left is in scorched earth mode and that is making it worse for them, etc.
Lemon destroyed his career, btw, though CNN won’t dump him.
Problem is, as always, that the dead voters haven’t been out yet, and neither have the illegal alien voters. They ALWAYS vote democrat.
The GOP equalizer is always the motivated and the incentivized and informed voters.
I voted early. I always vote early
On Election day, I might need to be somewhere else.
At my polling place, they anticipated an increase and increased the number of sign in tables and voting machines. They easily handled the crowd of mostly gray heads (old ladies of course, are not gray. Their hair is their color of choice)
The “something special” is CNN and Senate Democrats waging the most effective get-out-the-vote campaign I’ve ever seen. On behalf of Republicans.
I’m a Board Member of my county Board of Elections in Ohio. Our absentee ballot requests and early voted ballots (Ohio allows in-person early voting for 30 days prior to Election Day) are up 43% over the 2012 midterm requests. As of today, we are at roughly 805 of the absentee/early numbers for 2016, and we set a record in 2016 with 81.5% turnout. 80% of our voters are Republican.
It is unlikely that Republicans will vote for Democrats in significant numbers. On the other hand, the #walkaway movement indicates that the opposite might be true for Democrats. Not only have a more significant number of Democrats reregistered as Republicans than the other way around, but for numerous reasons fewer registered Democrats are likely to vote the party ticket than in the past. The treatment of Kavanaugh, the unhinged idiocy of the “new Democratic Socialist” rising stars and the good economy under Trump are likely to swing significant votes toward the R column.
Thats potentially a huge hidden factor in this election that I am sure none of the polling is considering. I suspect that there are very few Republicans willing to vote for Democrats, while there is an unknown but likely larger number of Democrats willing to vote for Republicans this time around. Assuming that is true, and many signs indicate that it is, every poll is incorrectly skewed toward the Democrat candidate by some unknown amount. And thats without even taking into account how these polls tend to oversample Democrats anyway.
Local paper here says early votes submitted so far amount to about 27% of registered voters.
Beat me to the same point by 18 seconds. You have to be fast around here.
It would be more accurate to compare the 2018 election to the 2010 election than the 2014 election. 83.8 million votes were cast in 2010.
Adding in third parties, the total number of votes cast in 2010 were 86.78 million.
I expect 130% support for democrats from fictional voters, 150% from illegals, and 200% support from the dead.
“One should not assume that all Democrats are voting for Democrats.”
That was my thought. If you were a registered Rat or a Walk a Way, you still are ‘polled’ as a registered Rat but you pull the lever for a Repub. Your real vote is for a Repub. Correct ? How does this work? I am really confused. Someone help.
Trump Urges Early Voters to Change Their Votes
I dont know. Are the orgs doing the polling just counting Ds vs Rs, because they dont like the answers? Polling is simply not credible as many people simply are not willing to take them.
