I’m a Board Member of my county Board of Elections in Ohio. Our absentee ballot requests and early voted ballots (Ohio allows in-person early voting for 30 days prior to Election Day) are up 43% over the 2012 midterm requests. As of today, we are at roughly 805 of the absentee/early numbers for 2016, and we set a record in 2016 with 81.5% turnout. 80% of our voters are Republican.
Same thing in Montgomery Co. Rs/Rs will be even after early voting when we allocate “unaffiliated voters with our special sauce.
That is a HUGE win for Rs, who dominate election day.
