One should not assume that all Democrats are voting for Democrats.

We are truly living in historic times. A non-politician is president, the left is in scorched earth mode and that is making it worse for them, etc.

Lemon destroyed his career, btw, though CNN won’t dump him.

Problem is, as always, that the dead voters haven’t been out yet, and neither have the illegal alien voters. They ALWAYS vote democrat.

The GOP equalizer is always the motivated and the incentivized and informed voters.

I voted early. I always vote early

On Election day, I might need to be somewhere else.

At my polling place, they anticipated an increase and increased the number of sign in tables and voting machines. They easily handled the crowd of mostly gray heads (old ladies of course, are not gray. Their hair is their color of choice)

The “something special” is CNN and Senate Democrats waging the most effective get-out-the-vote campaign I’ve ever seen. On behalf of Republicans.

I’m a Board Member of my county Board of Elections in Ohio. Our absentee ballot requests and early voted ballots (Ohio allows in-person early voting for 30 days prior to Election Day) are up 43% over the 2012 midterm requests. As of today, we are at roughly 805 of the absentee/early numbers for 2016, and we set a record in 2016 with 81.5% turnout. 80% of our voters are Republican.

It is unlikely that Republicans will vote for Democrats in significant numbers. On the other hand, the #walkaway movement indicates that the opposite might be true for Democrats. Not only have a more significant number of Democrats reregistered as Republicans than the other way around, but for numerous reasons fewer registered Democrats are likely to vote the party ticket than in the past. The treatment of Kavanaugh, the unhinged idiocy of the “new Democratic Socialist” rising stars and the good economy under Trump are likely to swing significant votes toward the R column.

It would be more accurate to compare the 2018 election to the 2010 election than the 2014 election. 83.8 million votes were cast in 2010.
