Donald Trump has ordered the military to be on alert over a US-bound migrant caravan as he declared a national emergency.
Referring to the caravan from Honduras, the president tweeted: "Sadly, it looks like Mexico's Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States.
"I have alerted Border patrol and Military that this is a National Emergency."
He added that the US would begin "cutting off, or substantially reducing aid" to three Central American countries.

No mentioned in the report of the Mexican police that were beaten and bloodied by the invaders.

Because the sooner drastic action to avoid killing them is undertaken, the sooner this horde, and the nations that are sponsoring and assisting them, will realize that the consequences of their actions are going to be extremely painful.

Yeah, it sounds all military so you can get all Rambo in your demands that Trump just air strike these people, but like I said, outside of hyperbole, you arent dealing with an ID’d army, so you cant just start shooting people because it sounds fun and cool, let alone the fact that these people currently are in the southern part of another nation.

If Congress was doing its job of protecting our country and its citizens, it would demand that the President order the military to begin immediately to wire the border from one end to the other. And those who think that cannot be done in time to repel these invaders simply underestimate the ability of the military to get it done.
Closing a bridge now, when none of them are near it, isnt going to turn them back when they are hundreds of miles away.

It needs to stop. I have family in California but do not go back as their state has become overrun. Most stores have signs in English and Spanish. Their customers refuse to learn English.
Mr. Trump understands hostile take-overs so we have to let him play this out.
He is correct, the Dems allowed this to happen, but GOP equally at fault for playing along.
Mexico has been winking at these invaders passing through their nation. Trump called them out and they failed to defend their border.
Their militancy proves their determination to defy our borders. They are justifying use of deadly force.
Get the women and children separated from the men and lay into them.

Wire should be going up as we speak. And those who say the military cannot get the job done in time to stop this invasion are wrong. The only thing preventing it from going up are the politicians. Remember that folks, when you cast your ballot in the mid-terms.

TY. Just got back from voting. Never have I seen so many here. Over 10 times normal early voters. 3-6 minority types, and; the rest were 60 plus. Almost all of us had grey hair.

I doubt than Texas has any jurisdiction over acts in Mexico.
Btw nothing is certain in law but time and expense.
Even if there was jurisdiction it would take months, if not years, for there to be any substantive results.
