There are a few weird things about the VA. Processing plant. Like they are built on the PAGAN River. No joke.
We must respect the country and culture of the employee. If he’s native American, fry him. But if not, it’s probably ok.

Main office is at Smithfield VA.....Just across river from Norfolk.
Plant is located in NC.
Well the big plant is in NC....much smaller plant (7000 kill/day) in Smithfield VA. Also Gwaltney plant also 6-7000 kill day right next door to it.
WHY would they build a swine processing plant on the PAGAN River & have a road that runs beside the plant that is numbered Route 666? Seriously, witch covens actually tried to lease land around there for their summer coven convention. This really happened. I lived in that town.

No clue. Smithfield Packing was family owned even after they built the big plant but they went public some 25 years ago and sold stock.
Wish I’d have bought more.
I could tell you a funny story about misunderstanding what “HEAD TABLE EXPERIENCE” means, but I’m sure you know where I’m going with this...no joke, it really happened...
