Senator Elizabeth Warren has released an analysis of her DNA showing that she has Native American blood.
An analysis of Warren's DNA sample showed she had a Native American ancestor in her family dating back six to 10 generations. The release of the analysis comes after President Trump has mocked her repeatedly for her claim that she has Native American blood and called her "Pocahontas." Critics have charged that Warren has advanced her career with a narrative she is a descendant of Cherokee and Delaware tribes.
A report released Monday says that the majority of Warren's ancestry is European but there is strong evidence to suggest that she has a Native American ancestor. A Stanford professor, Carlos D. Bustamante, who was awarded a MacArthur genius grant for his work tracking population migration via DNA, performed the analysis of the DNA, according to Warren's office.
The report notes with 99 percent confidence that five genetic segments on DNA were identified as "Native American in origin."
Warren's office also released a video to YouTube, "Elizabeth Warren's family story," which directly addresses the attacks on her heritage by the President and includes interviews with her family. A "Fact Squad" website with links to the DNA report and supporting documents was also launched.

DNA tests in this regard are not and never will be definitive. Lower percentages have a higher chance of being a false positives and the absence of an “Indian gene” would not conclude there is no Indian in her ancestry. These test sites have white papers on how these tests work so if you’re interested in the technical details check their site.
I had 3 siblings do the test (I did not) and one came back with Indian. Having done a fair amount of my own genealogy work, I know my earliest US ancestors came over in the 1850s and did not mix with Indians.
However the furthest my research goes is about 1800 and it is incomplete though I can confirm everyone before 1850 were overseas. I presume the only way I could have Indian would be if an ancestor came over, knocked up an Indian, brought everyone back to Europe, and a subsequent descendant came over later.

Uh, huh.
A liberal “scientist” (or so I’m willing to bet) performs a test and comes up with the expected results. Just like a liberal “victim” was “assaulted” by Judge Kavanaugh and liberal “reporters” ask “fair and balanced” questions.
You can’t believe anything any of these people say about anything because lying means nothing to them if they think it will result in advancing their anti-American agenda.
Truth doesn’t matter. The important thing is that from now on for any office she runs for, the media can claim she was totally vindicated and Trump is a liar.
No percentage, yet estimated to be 6 to 10 generations back. So then her American Indian blood is negligible. Six generations would be 1.56% (.0156) and ten would be .1% (.001).
That percentage is not enough to qualify for benefits of a true Indian. In other words, college tuition, tribal health care, treaty lawsuit payments, living in rez housing, casino profit sharing - none of it is due at such a low percentage.
Many Americans that come from age old European stock have American Indian blood in them. My wife does, I do. Mine is at that .1% level. Real Indians laugh at me when I quote the percentage.
The percentage is so low you are not considered a minority unless you are a democrat at Harvard.
6 to 10 generations?
Thus the pictures and family stories she saw and heard lasted 200 to 300 hundred years?
Where’s the “Yeah, right” girl?
It may also mean Mexican, not American Indian.
“dating back six to 10 generations.”
That would mean on the order of 0.1% or less of her genome is associated with Native Americans. By that measure, I’m a Native American, too! Probably more than she is. And here I thought my family arrived in America just a few generations ago.
I suspect a sizable percentage of the world population are “Native American” as well, by that measure.
No, the report clearly states Native American.
Elizabeth Warren releases DNA analysis backing Native American ancestry claims.
Bet that cost her a pretty penny. Like surveys, tests like this more often reflect the results desired by the person paying for them.
Like most surveys, probably largely Bullshit. In any case, Warren is an idiot.
Frankenstein.
She picked one of her comrade “perfesers” to do the test? ROTFL. That’s like Doctor Fraud picking her own lie detector guy. I’m not buying this Carlos Bustamove BS. She needs a test done by a disinterested party. That’s not “perfeser” Bustamove.
I’ll take you one step further: many of these companies are owned by leftists. Is it really out of the realm of possibilities that they would “fudge” some numbers or maybe even generate a completely fake ancestry analysis to support the narrative?
Now have somebody submit a sample of her DNA to a lab that doesn’t know it’s coming from her.
Hate to break it to her, but even if true this would still not make her use of affirmative action to get advantage in college and the workplace ethical... she had no proof at the time of any Indian blood and still has no proof of tribal affiliation, nor did could she justify the need for this advantage to make things right as no one ever discriminated against her for being an Indian.
Be sure to let us know when you are 100% finished?
>>Six generations is 1/64, about 1.4%. Ten generations is 1/1024, about 0.1%. I grew up near a reservation in Minnesota. There people had to prove they were 1/8 Indian (12.5%) to get reservation benefits.<<
This result means that pretty much EVERYBODY can now check the “Naive American” box and get special privileges accordingly. Real American Indians can thank fauahauntas for watering down the claim of ancestry to the point where the claim is now meaningless.
Keep her away from the tomahawks.
Translation: Warren wants to run in 2020 but she needs to clear this shit up first so Trump can’t kick the shit out of her with it, I can already picture Trump doing the math for her on stage.
Eyep...
Next she will be opening a casino.
