What the media aren’t telling you about Jamal Khashoggi (Saudi Consulate)

Khashoggi never had much time for western-style pluralistic democracy. In the 1970s he joined the Muslim Brotherhood, which exists to rid the Islamic world of western influence. He was a political Islamist until the end, recently praising the Muslim Brotherhood in the Washington Post. He championed the ‘moderate’ Islamist opposition in Syria, whose crimes against humanity are a matter of record. Khashoggi frequently sugarcoated his Islamist beliefs with constant references to freedom and democracy. But he never hid that he was in favour of a Muslim Brotherhood arc throughout the Middle East. His recurring plea to bin Salman in his columns was to embrace not western-style democracy, but the rise of political Islam which the Arab Spring had inadvertently given rise to. For Khashoggi, secularism was the enemy.

Turkish police and intelligence officials claimed that a team of 15 hitmen carrying Saudi diplomatic passports arrived the same morning on two private jets. Their convoy of limousines arrived at the consulate building shortly before Khashoggi did.

Their not-so-secret mission? To torture, then execute, Khashoggi, and videotape the ghastly act for whoever had given the order for his merciless dispatch. Khashoggi’s body,

Holy $&#%! **Khaled Saffuri** is the source for these Jamal Khashoggi stories? Khaled Saffuri, longtime aide to US al-Qaeda fundraiser Abdurahman Alamoudi (currently in federal prison) and friend of convicted/deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian??

“His recurring plea to bin Salman in his columns was to embrace not western-style democracy, but the rise of political Islam which the Arab Spring had inadvertently given rise to.”

“Inadvertently,” he says. Not by design? Hmm.

I hope they are not trying to get us to like murder and chopping up bodies. On the other hand, we should not like Turkey or Iran either. The middle east has a lot of barbarians. Its like when Roy’s Tiger ate him. Its what tigers do. And when barbarians act barbarous what can we say, its what barbarians do.

The Arabs of Arabia have been masters at one thing - selling myths about themselves to western diplomatic circles and getting many of those westerners to believe those myths. In some passages of the Quran it is not immoral or sacrelgious or blasphemous to purposely lie when it is believed to advance Islam. It fact, it is quite moral and in keeping with the Quran - accoding to some passages - to lie, if it is believed to advance Islam.

Is this great reforming prince, with aims the West applauds, using brutal methods to dispose of his enemies?

I have news for the world. The Saudis are far from the first to assassinate enemies.

According to the New York Times, among the assassination team was the kingdom’s top forensic expert, who brought a bone saw to dismember Khashoggi’s body.

Gasp. Not the new york slimes. Who could doubt what they say????

I wonder if it would bother any of the Democrat leaders if Leftists here started kidnapping, torturing, killing, and dismembering conservatives.

From what I can tell, the Democrat rank-and-file would be against it (other than the snowflakes), and many Democrat leaders would also be against it...but then there are other leaders who I’m not so sure about, to say the least.

The deep state and the UNIpartye. Were in love with the old Saudi regime and the MB. Witness Egypt. The old regime in Saudi lavished billions on lobbyists, universities and foundations to maintain their influence in Washington. Their interest was keeping the US and the world dependent on Saudi oil. They bankrolled the efforts to handicap oil production in the west. They also needed the US for security from their larger enemies. The Prince is changing all that and K was in the way. Unfortunately the benefactors if Saudi largess are going to use this to derail his support from the US.

This matters because, although bin Salman has rejected Wahhabism — to the delight of the West — he continues to view the Muslim Brotherhood as the main threat most likely to derail his vision for a new Saudi Arabia.

If Salman has rejected Wahhabism he is certainly an assignation target like Anwar Sadat.
We should be leery of diving into this mess where the MB and the Saudis are both enemies of us Kafirs. -Tom

It’s a big risk this way. If somebody shot him at a hotel or on the street there would be some doubt and a lot of suspicion that would scare the right people and not jeopardize valuable international relationships.
