Apparently triggered by the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat Socialist running for the House of Representatives, demanded an end to the Electoral College, and in so doing, also exhibited her complete ignorance about our history and form of governance.
“It is well past time we eliminate the Electoral College, a shadow of slavery’s power on America today that undermines our nation as a democratic republic,” she said in response to another tweet lamenting the fact that four Supreme Court justices have been appointed by two Republican presidents.

Easy enough. Just get a constitutional amendment passed...
States control how their electors are assigned and already many states assign them proportionally to the popular vote. Look for the communists to take this campaign directly to individual states in the future so they have no need for a constitutional amendment.

I would forgive her because her brain isn’t fully developed yet, and may never mature beyond stupid... but...
She’s got Puerto Rican blood in her and she’s getting a lot of publicity, all for the wrong reasons, ALL OF WHICH is very embarrassing to me as an American born in Puerto Rico.
