Support for President Donald Trump is growing among black Americans, but it’s unclear whether that will translate into enough votes for Republicans to retain control of Congress in the midterm elections in one month’s time.
This apparent reversal of fortunes stands in stark contrast to Republicans’ inability in recent decades to attract much support from black voters.
Part of the growth could be due to defections from the Democratic side. Former Democrat Brandon Straka’s #WalkAway movement has been encouraging Americans to share their personal stories of disillusionment with the Democratic Party and abandon, or “walk away,” from the party. The movement encourages voters to reject the influence of the far left on the Democratic Party, which in turn benefits the Republican Party and President Donald Trump. It is difficult to quantify the movement’s actual effects, but it is undeniably stirring things up in American culture.

Didn't blacks used to get hung when women made false accusations against them? What about the once recently released from jail for sex crimes they didn't commit? Any 'pub with any sense for strategy should be able to play this up.

From what I’ve been seeing, the entire Trump resistance movement, as well as every single protest I’ve seen on TV or Web, is entirely comprised of unhinged upper class white liberals. It’s almost as if the rats and Soros fueled resistance have completely forgotten about their core Latino and Black constituents. It seems also that POTUS is working directly with inner city community leaders in order to create more opurtunitues, which has been ignored by the media, but not by the communities themselves. I think POTUS is muting the ability for DNC to bribe community leaders into terrifying black and Latino voters into fear based bus loads of votes.
Spot on. Whatever the numbers are in the article, this past week is going to blow that away. Nobody has missed that the Dems are back to their lynching ways but the Republicans are the party that believes in the rule of law, evidence, and the presumption of innocence.
Just last month a Democrat Latino majority district in TX that hadn’t elected a Republican for 139 years flipped Red in a major upset.
NONE of the polls caught it.
