The only investigation should be that of conniving, corrupt democrats.

Someone from the FBI is going to sit down and explain something to these morons among the GOP Senators.

"Our 'investigation' would last about 30 minutes. We have no crime scene to investigate and nobody left to interview. We have sworn statements and/or testimony from every person who has been named in this allegation, so we just need to compile them all into one document and run off 100 copies at Staples."

“Nothing to investigate.” So says the FBI. She’s toast.

Not surprised. Predicted it. Collins will do the same and McConnell will be forced to delay.

If they don’t find anything will they support perjury charges against Ford?

So—McConnell’s been sand-bagged big time.

Let’s see how he responds.

[Sen. Lisa Murkwoski (R-AK) told reporters Friday that she agrees with fellow moderate Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (AZ) in his call for an FBI investigation that would delay the Senate floor vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for up to one week.]

It won’t be one week. This opens the door to endless “new revelations” with the Democrats demanding they all be investigated too. This is their avenue to indefinite delay.

Hasn’t the FBI already declined to investigate Kavanaugh again?

There has already been six previous background investigations on Kavanaugh, which turned up nothing.

I suppose Wray could order a new investigation or the President could request it.

I so much want the Republicans to pick up a few extra Senate seats during the upcoming election, so that we can TOTALLY IGNORE Murkowski. Make her become irrelevant.

How do idiots like this reach high office? This is not in the FBI’s jurisdiction. Even if you turn to local LE, which has jurisdiction, there is nothing to investigate. She has no details, no time, date or place, and no witnesses.

Is it obligatory for the Majority Leader to consider the recommendation of Jeff Flake and the Dems that the final vote be delayed for their FBI three-ring-circus?
