It is not the Alabama voters that stayed home. Don’t blame voters for not voting for Moore. It is about Republicans putting up a weak and bad candidate.

I wouldn’t count on Democrat flips in red states. They know they are done in their states whether they vote yes or no. Especially after this past week. The democrats will pay them off with some form of future position to vote no.

What!? Flake got a WEEK delay after the Demonrat performance yesterday?
Republicans, if you let this vote get delayed or cancelled, I am done with you. If you do, I will consider the US Congress to be in enemy hands. Oh, and you’ll need that anti lynching legislation, not that it will help you after the war.

“...It isn’t up to him to delay the Vote in the full Senate...”

True. But this is all based on Flake cooperating with the RATS because of his HATE FOR TRUMP. This is a hate-based DELAY tactic, supported by the RATS, to bring down the process due to more delays.

While that’s true, he could also vote “no.”

I just read that Trump called flakey Ford a “very credible witness” and will not demand that the vote go ahead. What the heck is the matter with him? Does he have GWB syndrome?

Kavanaugh can be seated at any time after confirmation/swearing in.

McConnell will NOT ask for an FBI investigation.
It would set a terrible precedent. Joe Biden was
right in 1991, it is NOT their job.

Even if Kavanaugh gets through the precedent will allow Dems to tie up Conservative nominees indefinitely while the FBI chases down hundreds of spurious allegations.

Nip this in the bud, Senator.

I cannot believe the republicans are so stupid. I am so disgusted I may never vote again. The democrats spit all over the poor republicans and they don’t have enough sense to know it. i think it is too late to clean house, we have made our bed as they say. Trump will never place another Supreme Court justice. Democrats are too smart.

So Senator Flake has the power to tell Mitch McConnell when the full Senate can vote on this? I thought the full vote was scheduled for tomorrow noon?

SARCASM tag up front, just so nobody misses it ....

I don’t mind if Kav gets an FBI investigation, if it’s the same as the one that they gave Hillary .... they should already have the memo written so the vote should not be delayed! /sarc

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Non-sarc:

NO DELAY ... IF Mitch has the votes without Flakey, I don’t think he’ll delay, but therein lies the problem - DOES he have the votes. I don’t think Manchin will be a yes - Schumer is going to want ZERO Dem votes so they can campaign this fall that the SCOTUS is illegitimate with Kav on it - elect us & we’ll impeach him (& Trump, too but they’re not talking about that right now).

He did NOT secure anything. Mcconnell will do what he decides to do and the panels job is done. With Murkowski and Collins both up for relection they will seal their fate with a no vote so Sen Flakey can go pound sand.

Heitkamp in ND is in the same position: Vote Yes, lose. Vote No, lose.

She’ll vote “No”, and take one for the team, retiring to a nice D.C. K street job with Soros money.
