Miss Mitchell has "The Art Of The Deal", President Trump's imprimatur all OVER her, IMO.

She sounded ineffectual, but holy crap ! ... THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE TOLD SHE WAS NOT !

She's a professional, best in the business, non partisan, etc., etc.

I have not seen a similar comment ..... YET ...... as mine, that Miss Mitchell is/was The Art Of The Deal Trump, but I'm convinced.

I would disagree. Mitchell was non-partisan and had she ripped into Ford it would have made the republicans look bad. On the other hand, her questioning about plane travel was brilliant. It revealed we are dealing with a liar. Something else she revealed...Ford consistently answered she hadn’t spoken with anyone else except Eshoo’s office, Feinstien’s office and was interviewing lawyers; Ford was then asked why she thought she needed a lawyer, she responded that the “beach people” told her she should get one. Wait, you said you hadn’t spoken with anyone else?

What everyone needs to focus on is this was the Democrat party taking advantage of a damaged woman. They KNOW it wasn’t Kavanaugh....but they USED this woman and her issues for political purpose. She was just violated by the Democrat Party.

Bingo! Just a pawn. The DemocRats demonstrated such callous and cynical treatment of Ford that ought to make anyone cautious about dealing with them.

Grassley said Ford would be heard, and she was. I think they wanted to avoid appearing to bully her. Ford’s own incompetence was the cross examination.

Mrs Jackson utterly disagrees,

We one the hearing land Mitchell did what she needed to do. She showed everyone watching that Blowsey is a liar. There is enough there to bring a case for lying to Congress.

And mortician war-hero Blumenthal drove the final nail in the coffin - wrong in one thing wrong in all, which by the way is a standard no juror will actually apply. A man testifying could come off entirely truthful except on a question about his relationship with his wife, or whether he had relations with some former girlfriend long gone and married. That doesn’t make him a liar, but perhaps a gentleman.

And remember Dershowitz is an appelllate attorney not a trial attorney. That means he makes his legal living on briefs filed with courts of appeals or the Supreme Court, not on standing on his feet and convincing 12 citizens good and true sitting in the box.

That was the death knell of Christine Blasey Ford's claim and credibility.

Add Graham's brilliant speech that blamed Feinstein NOT Ford to the day. He kept Ford a victim and put the blame completely on the Dems for outing her and using her for their own political gains.

Checkmate!

“Correct, She was the wrong choice for the job”

“Aunt Bea” comes to mind. Anyway, she was moved aside and the circus went on without her.

The pussyfooting whipped republicans hired her to prevent criticism,in other words to lose any hope of confirming Kavanaugh.
Thank God for Lindsey Graham, and Kavanaugh himself

Another great point... only one party faced hostile questioning yesterday, and it wasn’t Ford. Everyone gave her excessive deference, yet she was automatically considered “credible.”

The Brown Shirt Media would have had a field day. Even without the video they are bitching about white men. Grassley handled that just right and to decision to bench he3r in favor of Graham was brilliant.

Bingo.

“That was the death knell of Christine Blasey Ford’s claim and credibility. “

I’m still not sure if Ford is just a plain Liberal Loon, or she’s someone who thought she’d be able to trash a nomination. Based on her testimony, I lean toward the loon bit.

She was asked the impossible. Her day to day job is protect accusers. She was asked to destroy an accuser without “hurting her feels”. She landed every single punch inside her ROE. She took an impossible mission and did it.

I agree. Her job was to create doubt, not to destroy and humiliate, which she could have easily done if she was allowed to ask leading questions backed by documentation -- and if she wasn't required to stop and restart every five minutes. As many of Mitchell's critics have pointed out, Ford repeatedly lied and contradicted herself while testifying yesterday. That did not happen by accident; rather, it was the result of a subtle, but effective cross-examination by a skilled attorney. In a normal courtroom setting, Mitchell would then have had an opportunity to summarize the inconsistencies during closing arguments in an effort to create reasonable doubt in the minds of the jurors. Instead, Sen. Graham, Cruz, and others delivered the closing arguments using the inconsistencies that Mitchell obtained from Ford.

Keep in mind that Mitchell primarily defends people accused of sex crimes, where the jury is likely to sympathize with the victim. In most of these types of cases, the best defense is to sow doubt in the minds of the jurors, not to kick the crap out to the victim. And that's what Mitchell did yesterday.

Name Of Feinstein Staffer Thought To Have Leaked Kavanaugh Allegations...’Heather Sawyer’ (Dike character)....leaked Ford’s letter to the media in violation of Senate Rule 29(5) Which if true she will have to be fired, possibly charged.

That woman exudes malevolence (and for Prof. Ford’s benefit, “exudes malevolence” means she looks like a nasty piece of work).

Exactly. What I said, it was the first time ever her job was to damage a victim’s credibility. For a virgin she did pretty good IMHO.

The show, produced and directed by Grassley was a complete farce. Thank God, Kavanaugh firmly defended himself and that Graham took the bull by the horns and ripped the RATS to shreds. McCain must be turning over in his grave.

The kicker, the nail in the coffin, for those one the “inside baseball” level was when she asked Ford about the cognitive interview and Ford said she didn’t know what she was talking about. Did you see the shock on Mitchell’s face at that? Ford has been a co author of 60 articles mostly about PTSD and rape but “she doesn’t now the fundamental policies for pursuing those allegations”? Please.
