Alan Dershowitz did not hold back his thoughts when asked about Rachel Mitchells cross-examination during Christine Blasey Fords testimony Thursday on Capitol Hill.

Which is why I did not watch one second of the Senate Hearing.
Rachel Mitchell is not incompetent.
Donald Trump and the GOP Senate Leadership are incompetent for hiring her!
Correct,She was the wrong choice for the job
they must have told her her job description was “don’t make any news”
I wonder how much he took, I wonder how much it cost to buy a 85 year old RINO, Republic hater? I wonder...........
Her job was to have a uterus and she did.
they must have told her her job description was dont make any news

I suspect so. She was likely simply carrying out her assigned mission within the constraints she was given.
Anyhow, whether her actions were inadvertent or advertent, we somehow came away with a victory.
Yes, I can’t decide which it is but in ways, it very much appears like this was the game plan, to be easygoing. Not nail her meaning Ford.
Really? At times, I thought Grassley did well to keep order. Told the Democrats off one time about this FBI investigation, as being a canard basically. I’m not sure anyone else will see it as the way you assert.
Yes. It looks like her job was to not be quotable while killing time until Judge Kavanaugh could speak.
Kavanaugh was supposed to fail this confirmation, one way or the other. He didn't... despite all our Dem and GOP "friends" in that hall of corruption.
The swamp creatures have one weakness... they need the public to remain ignorant and apathetic, and just to keep voting them in. Trump is beating them by getting us to wake up... and threatening their status quo by actually going out and voting.
They're now calculating... will they remain in power if they dump Kavanaugh, or do they need to confirm to get out votes.
Their current worry is this November... so they are now forced to confirm. Then, Trump has them where he wants them.
I agree.
Donald Trump is never incompetent.
It was GRASSLEY’S show!!
I saw exactly one criticism of Mitchell, not by a Senator, that claimed Mitchell was a colleague of Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Political Rule Number One...
If the Hard Left is not assaulting you, that means they do not fear you.
Given that this is a political situation far more than a legal one, the question is did she do the job she was asked to do? My guess is that she probably did, and did it well - provide a low-key setup for the Kavanaugh haymaker.
The Brown Shirt Media would have had a field day. Even without the video they are bitching about white men. Grassley handled that just right and to decision to bench he3r in favor of Graham was brilliant.
She was asked the impossible. Her day to day job is protect accusers. She was asked to destroy an accuser without hurting her feels. She landed every single punch inside her ROE. She took an impossible mission and did it.
I suspect that Mitchell, being in Maricopa Co, AZ, is a domestic violence feminist. If so...big mistake.
This is a little off-topic, but there are...
* 48 senators who will probably vote to confirm.
* 43 senators will probably be no votes.
* 9 senators in question.
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Joe Donnelly (D-IN)
Jeff Flake (R-AZ)
Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND)
Doug Jones (D-AL)
Joe Manchin (D-WV)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Bill Nelson (D-FL)
Jon Tester (D-MT)
Manchin, Donnelly and Heitkamp are likely possibilities for confirmation votes. Collins is also a slight possibility if given enough encouragement, IMO (expressed public doubt to feminist constituents that Kavanaugh would overturn Roe v. Wade).
Sweet-talk ‘em.
It was Donald Trump's nominee.
Supreme Court Justices are the main reason most of us "doubters" voted for Trump.
If Kavanaugh is voted down, no Conservative judge will ever accept a Supreme Court nomination from Trump again.
Oh! At least 50 votes to confirm with Pence for a tie-breaker if needed.
