The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
Cronyn (TX) up. He votes whichever way the wind blows. He better vote FOR Kavanaugh.
This whole line of questioning is nuts. We’ve sunk to teenage bodily function jokes.
He’s trying to make him out as a drunk so they can say he tried to rape her without remembering. Pathetic.
Major respect to Lindsey Graham.

Wow, I think when McCain croaked an angel gave Graham his balls back! Impressive!
However, from my perspective it appears the R's avoided their responsibility to fully attempt to determine whether Ford was a credible accuser.
This may be excusable and warrant R acceptance if the vote for confirmation is a slam dunk; i.e. there would be no necessity for a bloody mess with R fingerprints.
In essence, the committee brought in a mediator, albeit one with a confrontational and somewhat biased tone. (That would also explain why Mitchell would give Ford an "Ok" after most of her responses.)
on one hand, the use of a mediator in such committee procedures may be a step forward. On the other, this may have been a missed, important opportunity to give future character assassins pause for concern.

Senator WHINEhouse is a total DB. The FFFFFourth made him look like a complete fool. I really enjoyed that Judge K asked WhINEhouse if he wanted to talk about more Fs.
He’s doing a good job right now. I think he’s a “yes” from his comments/questioning.
