The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.

He needs to cry. Of course it has to be legitimate and I wouldn’t blame him. He needs to tell what this has done to his family and about the death threats his family has gotten. If he comes off wooden he is screwed.

I don’t think it matters if you’re republican or not. I’m conservative. It happens that at the moment I would slit my wrist before I’d vote for a democrat or not vote.

I’m trying not to ride on the peaks and valleys of this whole mess.
But when we have Republicans like Hatch and Murkoswki, it’s almost like we’re shooting ourselves in the foot. They both viewed Ford’s testimony as “credible” or “a good witness”.
Seriously?
Is this the normal DC dissembling that we should all be used to - or should something more be read from both their statements?
Why can’t both of them just STFU for the time being and tell reporters “I have no comment at this time”.

I think she did a pretty good job.
Recall she was limited by those five minute things.
I thought Ford looked dopey with so many answers while Mitchell came off as nice and fair.
Mileages vary, of course, so I’ll throw mine in.
Did you notice that the democrats spent all of their time telling Ford how great she was. And they spent their time making a mockery of the judicial process and all of its reasons and protections.
But only the prosecutor was actually asking questions in search of the truth. Any sane an reasoned person would pick up on that. The democrats already had there verdict before they ever entered the room. They didn’t need to ask any questions.
LG is pretty conservative - most of the time, we’ll see how he treats immigration now that McCain is gone. i don’t think we know yet.
