Judge Brett Kavanaugh & Professor Christine Blasey Ford Testify
The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
So, she was terrified but kept on coming back. Reminds me of a “Cosby” bit....” Come here, come here, come here, No get away get away, get away.
Can someone here explain to me why the hell we care what the Dems think? They are not the ones who will stop this nomination or the ones who will stop Kavanaugh off of being seated at on the United States Supreme Court.
It is purely up to the Republicans if Kavanaugh becomes a United States Supreme Court Justice. The Dems have said already they are all going to vote against Kavanaugh and yet I keep hearing hear that for some reason the Dems are holding all the cards when in fact they can’t do anything to stop Kavanaugh only the Republicans can stop him.
I don’t think it was Kavenaugh if anything did happen to her.....repressed memory recovery is NOT valid nor accurate to use in a court hearing anymore as those are so unreliable.
Grassley is again failing. I don’t see any light at the end of the day. This AZ prosecutor seems particularly ineffective.

I don’t know how old you are but I grew up at a time when most kids had two parents in the home. Dad worked and Mom was a stay-at-home mom. Mom handled the minor offences and referred the bad stuff to Dad. Our biggest dread was hearing the words “just wait until your Dad gets home”. Mom was the caretaker and Dad was the enforcer. Having to wait all day for Dad to get home was more torturous than the actual punishment.

Yes I think so....yet I do not believe her.
I had a liberal friend insist to me that women can’t lie about these things. She recounted to me her personal details about something that happened to her a couple of decades ago. My friend was almost in tears doing it. There is no way Ford went through anything close to what she did. My friend was angry insisting that why would she ( Ford ) lie? I explained about money and politics.
So far Ford’s testimony reminds me of Anita Hill’s. Much BS over nothing. It still never even looked to me that Hill was buying her own BS. My friend’s highly charged emotional defense of Ford had the exact opposite effect doing a Tonya Harding to her point.
Lol...Grassley has been the only one to speak. The format they are using is making it hard for the attorney to make any continuity.
The R’s stuck it up their own asses trying to outsmart the the D’s. At least so far

That's a great point. I've been of the opinion that what she claimed happened...even if it really happened amounts to nothing. BUT BEING A MAN I've refrained from saying so. But when you compare her story and trauma and blah blah blah to Elizabeth Smart it really hits home.
I saw Elizabeth on TV last week and I was amazed at how well she's put herself together. She's a strong, brave woman.
It looks like that from their smug faces.
