Judge Brett Kavanaugh & Professor Christine Blasey Ford Testify
The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
Apparently she can’t even remember what she wrote in an email as well.
She’s beginning to cut to the chase, I’m liking what I’m seeing now despite a bad initial reaction. The format is ridiculous for getting at the truth of the matter, though. Five minute “turns” who was the genius who came up with that? A Democrat.

What the hell was Grassley thinking to hire this questioner. It takes more than 5 minutes to as the first question. She seems to have been given the right to rewrite her previous letters. This is nuts. This woman should be excused and let the republicans ask their own questions
It’s going very poorly for Kavanaugh, she better start going after her, trying to poke holes in what she’s saying.. Of course dems immediately want to close down the possibility that another man is coming forward to claim it was him

I don’t think this is about “getting to the truth” because she’s not going to add one iota of new information and the prosecutor is likely not going to press her hard enough to break through the conditioning and fabricated truth.
But this will check a box, and I fully expect the committee to vote and send this nomination to the full Senate tomorrow.
This is all political. They’re going to boot it upstairs where all 100 politicians sit and let the votes fall where they may.
Had Grassley NOT held this hearing the vote in the Senate would have no doubt failed due to outrage over not hearing from all witnesses, etc, ad nauesum.
The prosecutor needs to have more time than every other 5 minutes.

She is very pitiful and I am totally sure some instance like this happened to her but she was totally coached to replace the real perp with Brett Kavanaugh, she admittedly did not know him very well and with all the inconsistancy in her story it is clear she could be mistaken about the who.
