Won’t happen. But what does it matter if Rosenstein stays for another couple months? All it will do is motivate the base.
With the impending release of the FISA warrant and other information, you can expect all kinds of revelations as the house of cards collapses. Obviously, someone wants Rosenstein fired as soon as possible. I wonder who leaked it? McCabe?

I think Rosenstein has figured out that Trump is going to clean house right after the elections. And that it would be better for Rosenstein and his deep state allies to provoke Trump into firing him now, for reasons like this, than waiting for the housecleaning.
I suggest everyone hold their fire over a NYT “story” that screams “manipulation”.
First questions should be, who leaked this, why now, and what was their motive:
-disrupt the kavanaugh nomination ?
-get Rosenstein ?
-get Trump ?
