The woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault during a high school party nearly 40 years ago, Christine Blasey Ford, has given the Senate Judiciary Committee a list of demands she says must be met before she's willing to testify about the incident under oath.
According to Chairman Chuck Grassley's staff, these demands are non-starters.

I don’t think she ever was willing to testify about her lies. These absolutely outrageous and nonsensical demands were just cover. Now the MSM can say “she really wanted to get the truth out, but the GOP didn’t want to her it”. Vote Monday !
It is past the deadline for this woman to indicate that she wanted to testify on Monday. Where is the announcement from grassley’s office or the Judiciary Committee that a vote is going to be heard, since she is not going to be testifying?
Schedule the committee vote, even if just to release the nomination to the full Senate.
I believe it's a ludicrous demand, but since I'm not sure I'd want him in the room anyway then I would be willing to concede that one.
The witness doesn’t get to set conditions for the Senate.
The Judiciary Committee should hear Kavanaugh on Monday and if his accuser fails to show up - to vote to approve his nomination.
Full Senate should vote to confirm him on Thursday.
My prayer today is that Grassley will bow up, grow a spine, and so will McConnell. And I pray that Kavanaugh will hold up under this terrible emotional onslaught and stay the course. It seems that any rights he might have are being completely buried.
These types like to throw out bits and pieces.. to see if the other side will bite.. if they bite.. the bits and pieces become chunks of demands. Don’t take the first bite.. it’s wrong to placate to try to keep the peace. They don’t want peace.. they want control.
