Senate Judiciary Committee ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein on Tuesday blamed Republicans for failing to get in touch with Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford ahead of a planned hearing on Monday, even as GOP leaders said they've made repeated attempts to reach out, and accused Feinstein of refusing to help.

Ya, a "hero" who can't even remember what year this alleged assault took place.
A "party" in which only four people were in the house. Sounds a bit more intimate than a party and something she would remember.
Unless she was a party girl that had sex with pretty much everyone. Not to say such an "assault" is then OK, but it sure is hard to remember what sex you initiated/enjoyed and what was forced on you. And she can't even remember that.
She should be given until 12 noon tomorrow to appear. If not, should go to full Senate for vote at 1.

3. DiFi says DiFi can’t vouch for it being true at all

4. another person present at the party says it didn’t happen
5. the nominee says he wasn’t at the party anyway

6. DiFi is trying to blame it all on the Republicans

This is what we have been waiting for, I now believe. The corrupt Senate Democrats have overplayed their hand, out of desperation. Nothing was going to stop the vote on the Kavanaugh appointment, and they realized that. So, they pulled out a really weak joker they had up their sleeve. They had to somehow delay the Senate vote on Kavanaugh until after the November election, and an accusation of attempted rape is all they had left.
A totally fabricated smear, based on opposition research, begun when Kavanaugh’s appointment was announced, was all they had. Problem is, the accusation is based on nothing. The incident did not happen. If it did, we would have heard about this much earlier, and Ford wouldn’t be reticent about appearing and swearing in for a public hearing next Monday.
She can’t specify the year, much less the date and location of the alleged attempted rape. If they had, there would be the possibility that Kavanaugh could prove he was nowhere near that location on that date, the Democrats can’t account for that. Because this did not happen, and there is no evidence at all that it did.
Will some other woman pop up with a similar story? Maybe, and it would be similar in that there will be no specifics, and no proof or any kind of evidence at all. This is all crap, nothing more. Just more Democrat playbook M.O. Up until now they knew that an indictment was as good as a conviction, and just a dirty accusation was as good as an indictment. Justice has never been their goal, but political destruction, intimidation and long term black mail has been.
Grassley called their bluff, now have the hearing without Ford, and get on with the vote!

absolutely untrue ... YESTERDAY Grassly was publicly complaining that neither FOR nor her attorney would take his calls and that he had both called AND emailed them several times AND that Feinstein as ranking committee member refused to help him contact Ford ...
Hard to do in the late '70s early '80s. Even in high school in the DC burbs then sex was easy and beer was rampant. But the same people came to all the parties. I'm betting Kavanaugh was not one of those people.
I was thinking today that 200 women may know me from back then. But not many would think I was a Kavanaugh :)

Agree with both of you. It’s insane to allow allegations like this thrown down in a case of this import, with no accountability required of the accuser.

For the next Trump nominee they will coordinate 2 or 3 carefully planned phony witnesses, who have plausible dates and places in their made up histories written by Soros lawyer employees.
That time they WILL have someone else to step up and say “Yeah, I saw the guy do that, too. He’s guilty.” And CNN will say, yes he lived on Grove Street then and was working at the Smith Store that summer. All the smear accusations made up.
