Democrats coordinated and planned over the long holiday weekend to obnoxiously interrupt the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The hearing started Tuesday morning and will likely run through the end of the week.
Right from the start, Democrat members of the Senate Judiciary Committee repeatedly spoke out of order, personally attacked Chairman Chuck Grassley and demanded the hearing be adjourned. Cortney has the details covered here.

The hearings are meaningless. The Republicans will vote in favor, the Democrats will vote against, and Kavanaugh will not reveal how he would vote in any case. Tomorrow, the committee should vote to send the nomination to the full Senate.
They only thing they’ve got left is to wellstone.
These people are incapable of defeating Judge Kavanaugh based on his qualifications.
No wonder they’re fit to be tied.
So after the McCain mini-series this weekend where they kept telling us they loved him because he was so civil to reach across the aisle and we need more of that - this is how they act.
Elections only count when the Democrat Party wins.
And of all the republicans who responded....it was Ted Cruz who nailed them the best. This is all about the 2016 election that they want to overturn. That they are still angry about.
Cruz intelligence, articulation, and instincts are out of the park. Graham did good too.

The Democrats want a liberal activist judge.
They can’t count on Kavanaugh to be one. That’s why they’re opposed to him because they want the Supreme Court to make laws.
And Kavanaugh has a philosophy of judicial restraint.

I think it would be a real gas if Stephen Breyer and Rugh Ginsberg were to announce their retirements on the day Kavanaugh is confirmed or the end of September, whichever comes first.
You need a letter from your congressman or senator to enter the gallery. At that point all CapPo can do is remove.
