Bought $400 of shoes for the family two weeks ago. Not a penny went to the politically correct weenies at Nike. Found America-made boots, too.

Heard this one on Brietbart this morning... “Nike went from “Just Do It” to “FU@ck the Police.”

Nike’s business model is not based on selling YOU one pair of sneakers every 5 years. Nike depends on selling 4 and 5 pairs of $200+ sneakers to some people EVERY year. You are not Nike’s demographic.

And in the end he is just a corporate sellout. Someone should find a picture of a lawn jockey and put his face on it. I’ll hold your horse.....I’ll sell your shoes. If he had any real principles he would train his butt off, apologize, promise good behavior and get a fair tryout with a team.

More importantly, a total boycott of both Nike and the NFL, and the resulting economic chaos visited upon each of these entities for not purging themselves altogether of this malignancy that is Colin Kaepernick, is only justice.

But both Nike and the NFL already had some separate issues that have threatened to derail each of them, and this further self-induced impairment will only hasten the progression of events.

Can’t happen fast enough.

After the backlash that Nike took on golf balls and golf equipment when Tiger tanked, forcing them to drop all golf items except clothing, you would think they learned that controversy doesn’t help profits.

Now, hijacking a truck full of shoes on the way to a retailer, that would hurt them.

No, that would only hurt the vendor who already paid Nike for the shoes.

Seems the Left doesn’t believe it’s own sloganeering when it comes to monuments to men who believed in something and sacrificed everything for the Confederacy.

The soldiers in that photo were supposedly Union soldiers, but that's really all the same, since both sides fought for their principles and many sacrificed everything. It's a double-whammy for Nike, because if they were Confederate they followed the maxim for a bad cause, but if Union it doesn't say much for their hero Kaepernick and his cause.

Exactly. Nike is targeting the black community with this ad. They will pay big bucks for a stupid pair of sneakers.

If Kapernike wants to see a group of people being held down and mistreated, maybe he should go visit a Nike factory. jackass

No to donating Nike branded products. don’t give Nike the free advertising by having ANYONE wear Nike in public.

I almost can’t believe our good luck that Nike is actually STOOOOOOPID enough to do this just ahead of the midterms.

I find that hard to believe and think their stock prices will reflect it.

When corporations move away from their basic purpose, and into the political realm, they cannot help by alienate some potential customers. When you reduce potential customers, you reduce profits.

While this seems like a very stupid decision.

I got to thinking about how much Nike gear I own. 1 golf shirt, and one hoodie, both purchased 3 years ago. That’s it.

Now think of who buys Nike gear often. Kaperdick-worshiping hood rats. These are the dopes slinking around the mall with their pants around their thighs, wearing over sized t-shirts and $200 sneakers.

Nike’s stock may suffer, but not sure their sales are gonna.

They are not just featuring him. They are taking proceeds to help fund his political crap. I step further than we all read initially.

I think you are right. I’ve bought Nike Pegasus running shoes for decades. They work well for me, so why change? But I can’t remember the last time I bought anything else from Nike.

I went to their website to complain. What they were advertising had nothing to do with me or how I live. Lots of foo-foo shoes. Emphasis on “style”, and changing your shoes to stay in style.

“New pink shades inspired by the triumphant feel of getting after your day at the break of dawn.” - picture of a guy sitting on a city sidewalk in a run-down part of town.

But...I hate running at dawn, you couldn’t pay me to run in pink shoes, and I run in the desert instead of places where you run because if you slow down the muggers will beat you to a pulp!

“Take center stage in the all-new NikeCourt NYC Collection”

I suspect they sell more Nikes in NYC than they do in all of Arizona.

“LeBron Soldier XII Basketball Shoe $130” - I’d as soon be emasculated as watch the NBA.

Nike’s business model isn’t based on selling me $85 jogging shoes once a year. They won’t get my business again, but neither will they miss me! Wouldn’t be surprised if they start advertising “BLM Cop-killer trainers - in a stylish blend of pink, orange & purple, $325”.
