Nike announced its Just Do It ad campaign on Monday, featuring former NFL player and original anthem protester Colin Kaepernick. News of the campaign comes only days before the kickoff of the 2018 NFL regular season. Nike tweeted:

However, this news was not welcome to all. Specifically, to fans who believe Colin Kaepernick has disrespected law enforcement, the military, the flag, anthem, and just about everything that makes America great.
As a result, some fans took to Twitter and took out their frustrations on their Nike gear:

It will show how big the anti-NFL movement really is. Or isn't.
I think if Nikes start showing up in SA stores, other than refusing to buy and wear their stuff, it’ll be the worst thing folks could do to Nike.
But I didn't watch a single game last year - not even the Super Bowl. And I won't be watching any NFL games this year.
College ball is good enough until hockey season starts back up.
Time to Dixie Chick nike.

Besides being a sh***y QB, Kaepernick is as dumb as a bag of hammers. What’s not mentioned enough is that he’s pulling his stunts for one reason: To get in the pants of his 36 y/o radical Muzzie girlfriend who has filled his empty skull full of B.S.
This could be a “New Coke” moment for Nike.
Nike is not a brand that I have ever purchased or went out of my way to shop for. I am swoosh free, except for a couple of golf balls I’ve found while out on the links.

Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.
Not how I see it. With that prominent Logo, wearing their attire is marketing the brand. Two Nike Caps going in the trash today.

I wouldn’t burn them either. I suggest a NIKE doantion drive. Donate truckloads to inner city Goodwills. If any poor kid can get them for a buck or two, there goes part of their cache. Who would kill for a pair of cheap shoes that any kid can get for next to nothing.
And at the same time, you help shod the poor. That would be more charity to the black community than many of the kneelers have done. Destroy Nike while doing good.
Wow- what a brilliant move by nike- embrace someone who hates this country and hates those that serve to protect him and all of us 24/7 selflessly!

Nike sells footwear and other gear for police depts. One can bet the procurement section for any police dept is going to strike Nike from its vendors list.
What a bonehead move by Nike.
Nike probably won’t be fazed by any boycott by us. The crowd that buys their stuff (or murders people to get their stuff) will continue to support them.
Instead of “Just do it”, they need to change it to, “Take a knee - loser”
Remember, leftists hate you and they will use the money you willingly give you to find ways to destroy your way of life with the goal to control you or, if not, to kill you.

Shorting Nike stock...
Burning the shoes sends a message that this is the last pair that consumer will ever wear.
Or Just Do Something Stupid...
Screw Nike. I used to love their shoes and their apparel. I hope they go bankrupt.
Seems the Left doesn’t believe it’s own sloganeering when it comes to monuments to men who believed in something and sacrificed everything for the Confederacy.
