The viral recording, which surfaced Monday, shows a man identified by police as Changseok Jun, owner of Jun’s Beauty Supply in Tulsa, Okla., punching the woman outside the store Sunday after her child pocketed a small item as the family was walking out the door.

“Mr. Jun followed the victim outside to confront her, and she threw the item back inside the store, then pushed him in his upper torso as she was leaving,” says Tuell. “Mr. Jun then punched the woman in the right side of her mouth with his closed fist.”
Jun was charged with assault and battery, a misdemeanor, and was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 12. A judge will rule on what happens next, but Tuell says possibilities include a fine or community service. The victim, whose name is not known, has the option to sue Jun.

I have no problem with anyone hitting a “woman.”

Slander them or especially make them feel you are taking advantage of them - and they will quietly accept it - up until the point they blow up.
Because Yahoo will never tell the whole story in an honest way. They are propagandists and will leave out pertinent details and twist what they do report. We can probably bank on there being more to the story that'll come out later.

The ones I know are all very eager to be mellow. But they are VERY honorable, and will defend themselves capably.

Just terrible. Can’t even go out and spend a quiet afternoon shoplifting with your child anymore without some idiot causing trouble.
Yes it seemed staged. The poor Korean dude is trying to earn a living and his get his son through college. Maybe Korean society is not perfect, but I admire them. And this setup will likely cost his business a year’s profit, if not more!
Any crappy Yahoo “news” story. Conveniently forgot to tell the reader that the woman “pushed” the store employee FIRST, which constitutes assault and battery.
Nothing about her being charged in the story. WHY? Or do I need to ask?

Sorry, mam’....you assaulted him FIRST. I hope the guy files an assault complaint based on the video and files a civil suit for any loss of business....not that he would get anything but attitude out of the woman. And, moves his shop to a location where hard work to make a living is appreciated.
