U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers Wednesday issued criminal arrest warrants for 17 employers and other individuals charged with exploiting illegal immigrant employees in six Nebraska communities during a series of raids that swept up 133 workers.
The operation, which also impacted two communities in Minnesota, was directed at employers and workers in O'Neill, Atkinson, Stromsburg, Ainsworth, Bartlett and Royal. Search warrants were also issued in Las Vegas.
Businesses in Nebraska included a tomato greenhouse operation, restaurants, a grocery store, a grain company, a cattle company, farms and ranches.

It’s good to see employers getting some arrest warrants.
Now the illegal aliens are “immigration exploiters” ???
I had to go almost the whole way through the first sentence to find this: “17 employers and other individuals charged with exploiting illegal immigrant employees”
Check out the big meat packers, ICE. They finance politicians at every level to keep their illegal alien workforce on the job.
If you build it, they will come. Tear it down and they will stop coming.
The release said the illegal immigrants were allegedly required to cash their paychecks at an illegal remittance business for a fee, have tax money deducted from their pay even though this money was never paid to the government and were coerced to remain quiet about this criminal activity.
I hope they really, REALLY throw the book at these employers. What they were/are doing is tantamount to slavery, IMO.
Illegal aliens are NOT immigrants
Eeeek, scary word ‘ICE’ on police car!!!!!
Police department states that scary word to be removed ASAP!

We have a huge hog plant in our town. The We are inundated with illegals.
Lets review the practicality of just removing the illegal workforce. It would cripple our economy. I believe the main goal has always been a solution to stop the flow in. I.E. the WALL.
I agree 100% to put the hammer down on businesses that are taking advantage of illegals and not filing payroll taxes. Cheating the system just like the guy who files unemployment and take side jobs for cash.
How practical is it to remove 12-20 million workers from our workforce performing jobs that our pampered coddled unemployed and lower class people would refuse to or be incapable of performing.
I believe if we could stop the flow, we could then address giving work permits and or citizenship to those who have a proven track record of working in the US and no criminal background.
It is great in theory to say deport them all, but in so doing you hurt not only them and their families, but the US and the cost of doing business which trickles down to everyone.
That's a good start. I wish this was happening daily in each state, but I'll take what I can get for now. Eventually, we need to deport all illegals. No exceptions.

I would bet $$$ that at least 80% ++ of the roofing companies in the USA have illegals forking for them.
Landscaping/ yard maintenance companies? 99%.
