It was possible to muddy the waters with Obama by claiming he was NBC through Stanley Anne on his mothers side, but there’s no way that can be argued for Kamala.

Oh, I see. It’s the phrase that is divisive. Not the political strategy of assigning everyone into little groups based on a single arbitrary distinguishing characteristic and then telling them that they should behave in a certain way because they belong to that group. That is not divisive at all.
