And THAT is why we have the electoral college.
Other than that, it's Trump country.
NYT does one thing right - election results. They were the first ones to see the Trump victory. By 9:30, the NYT website clearly showed me that Trump was on his way to victory while everybody else was in freak-out mode for several more hours.
Remember, only uneducated hicks voted for Trump according to the left...
I would love to see detailed analysis on what makes city dwellers so much more likely to be far left liberal democrats.
Even in the most conservative locales there is a small island of blue (or at least bluer) in a sea of red.

Leftism is fundamentally driven by envy which is itself a side effect of vanity. City slickers are reminded all day long there are many people in the world with more wealth, beauty, status. Vanity is a protective response, and envy soon follows.
Studies of happiness uniformly come to the conclusion that maximum happiness occurs at a population density of about 400 people per square mile. Anything less than 800 people per square mile is a Trump voting density.
Thanks! This was fun. I’m moving and it was fun seeing how my new neighborhood voted street by street. Sometimes the Times gets it right. Rarer and rarer, though.
