I would love to see detailed analysis on what makes city dwellers so much more likely to be far left liberal democrats.
Even in the most conservative locales there is a small island of blue (or at least bluer) in a sea of red.
As population density goes up, it seems that reliance on the government increases.
Id like to figure out the why.
Welfare dependency followed by single women are the 2 biggest voting blocks of the Democrat party. Cities have large amounts of both. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of Trump precincts in New York City. My perception has changed quite a bit of that city.
High proportions of Gibsmedats and Dindus.
All totally dependent on free stuff to keep breeding more of them.
As population density increases, property becomes more communal. City slickers own very little personal property and share in some way almost everything. More rules, enforcement, and taxes, are required to make it work.
Leftism is fundamentally driven by envy which is itself a side effect of vanity. City slickers are reminded all day long there are many people in the world with more wealth, beauty, status. Vanity is a protective response, and envy soon follows.
Studies of happiness uniformly come to the conclusion that maximum happiness occurs at a population density of about 400 people per square mile. Anything less than 800 people per square mile is a Trump voting density.
City political machines control unions and newspapers using mob muscle and propaganda tactics, while using welfare as the carrot on the stick.
