Ha, including "just" here is either a common rookie mistake or a Freudian slip. As written, it is a statement that Warren is indeed a braying silver-haired pol, but one who has other attributes as well. (Cf. "it's not just a floor wax, it's a dessert topping!")

I read the New York Magazine article yesterday. What caught my eye was the report that it was very hot in Natick on July 7 or 8, the weekend after July 4th. I checked. The high temperature was 82F - the average for July around Natick. If you have to exaggerate the temperature, what are the odds that anything else in the story is true?

I blanch a bit when I hear Warren, on the road, saying how as a second-grader she used to line up her dolls and reprimand them for not handing in their homework on time
