WASHINGTON The Trump administration has disclosed a previously top-secret set of documents related to the wiretapping of Carter Page, the onetime Trump campaign adviser who was at the center of highly contentious accusations by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee that the F.B.I. had abused its surveillance powers.
[Read the documents here.]

I don’t think Trump released it.
The redactions are designed to dirty the water.
All in good time. If, for example, a Dem House chooses to impeach, Trump can unleash the dogs of hell. Otherwise I would let the dogs sleep, but quietly work on reform.
I know legal documents are supposed to be accurate, but this thing appears to have an objective of producing the largest amount of paper possible.
You forgot the fiendishly devious strategy of making the printer run out of black toner...
Another REDACTED chapter in the SCREWING of America!
In due time. Trump holds almost all the cards and should not show any cards until the right time. We are still months from the midterms. It might work to show some before. But I think after will be better. If he shows them before the Congress might push through a quick impeachment vote (exposed sources and methods)
The timing was 4 months ago. We are way thru the rabbit hole and he is now in wonderland being whipsawed every other day. And his flunky remains impotent.
It sure looks like something like that was the case--alternatively, possibly being pumped for information as a useful idiot by Stefan Halper & Co. on behalf of the intelligence community (including the FBI and others).
FWIW, I also think Carter Page was the FBI’s “inside” guy.
Abolish the DOJ and FBI. Enough of this Obammy BS.
“Page says Halper, who has longstanding ties to the CIA and British intelligence, stayed in touch with him over 14 months, even inviting Page to his farm in Great Falls, Va., not far from CIA headquarters. The pair lost touch in September 2017 the same time the warrant to monitor Page expired.”
Any honest judge with two working brain cells would have stamped this REJECTED as soon as they got to “There has been speculation in U.S. media...”
Nor does it pass the smell test that not one of these FISC judges has called the applicants before the bench since.
Paul Sperry on twitter is doing a ton of tweets ..here is one “BREAKING: “Source #1 [Steele] has been compensated [blank] by the FBI,” according to newly released FISA applications to spy on Trump advisor Carter Page” https://twitter.com/paulsperry_/status/1020837660779319298
Rosenstein should be recused.
absolutely conflict he is muellers boss and oversees prosecutions of hillary etc..possible ethics violation?
also re strok:
Employees in the Department of Justice may not:
Use their official authority or influence to interfere with or affect the result of an election (5 U.S.C. § 7323(a)(1).
(what is the penalty?)
BREAKING: Source #1 [Steele] has been compensated [blank] by the FBI
why would they blank out what he was compensated for?
how is that “classified”
someone better ask that question
That would have been way too soon. Much information has been revealed without Trump lifting a finger. That’s the safest political course of action right now.
There is absolutely NO WAY Carter Page is as stupid as he acts on t.v.. Look at his education and resume. Then observe how he acts like a head injury patient. The two things are diametrically opposed. If they wanted to spy on him, and he’s supposedly a Russian agent, then why is he not in deep trouble with Mueller? The ONLY possible reason the fisa warrant names him, is because he’s an FBI or (other IC) PLANT, an ASSET. He has been willingly used to try to destroy Trump, by just holding the door open. But he’s playing a stupid doorman, who has no idea WHY, or for WHOM, he’s opened the door. Apparently, he was an understudy to “Chance, the gardener”. He deserves an Academy Award. He should have shelf built for it, in a cell at Guantanamo.
A DOJ that reports to Trump.
Maybe that’s the amount. If people know the amount they can figure out about how many hours he was paid for.
What a total crock of sh#t!
We allow the most corrupt government in the world to lord over us.
Love my country, love the Constitution but hate this rotten government. I should not say more.
