Yes, I noticed the similarity of "Bristol-Twistin' Annie" to "Pistol Packin' Mama."
When Mussolini Laid His Pistol Down by Denver Darling (1944) is also an interesting take-off on "Pistol Packin' Mama."

I could see the similarities but Jackson really took off with it. And he was fluid. I enjoyed watching him dance more than listening to his music - LOL - and I enjoyed his music a lot.

If I could just learn to do that Jitterbug Stroll, I’d make that my daily workout. Dancing is such a fun way to “exercise.” I call it “accidental exercising”! ;)

He might be a big ol’ chicken, but when hubby was gone to stay with his mom for 6 weeks, I really appreciated him growling when he heard something that I didn’t. I felt like he helped keep me alert. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it. LOL!
I REALLY hope that the storms run out of steam before they get to your area. These were really awful! Wouldn’t hurt to get some rain, though. :)

You’re more than welcome, Kathy. Glad I could help.
I imagine the word “retirement” comes to mind more and more often as time goes on. LOL

It does help to have some sort of “alarm system” when you’re there alone.
Ours only growl when someone knocks or rings the doorbell. If they hear something outside or see something through the window, they just get antsy. Still gets my attention at least.
The storms have calmed down tonight but are expected to fire up once the sun’s up tomorrow. Strong wind, hail, and isolated tornados are what they’re calling for throughout the day as the system rolls through TN.
Oh well, it sounds like there’ll be a chance for more lighting pix. LOL

That would be great exercise. Then you could take a quick break (or do a slow-dance with someone, or something like that), while listening to these songs:
(Look at how many "views" that Percy Sledge song has had already on youtube - over 53 million!)
And then you can go back to the more intense dancing/exercise, with some of these songs:

It sure does sound like you might have a chance to get more great lightning pics! Just don’t blow away while you’re getting them! LOL!

Yes, it does though I’d prefer it not be with such a strong system. We’ve had enough damage here and don’t want more. It has us a little nervous.
