Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said...I think it was a terrible mistake for the Department of Justice to issue that indictment on the eve of a foreign policy trip, Dershowitz said in an interview with conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt on Thursday. The Justice Department is not supposed to be intruding on the foreign policy of the United States. They should have, on their own, held off.
...."The issue is timing. You know, the Justice Department policy say[s] you dont issue indictments just before an election, because youre not supposed to be influencing policy, Dershowitz added. And embarrassing the president by issuing these indictments before he meets Putin was a serious blunder. The Justice Department should not have done that.

“Yes, it’s basically evidence that could reasonably be brought up at their trials for treason. “
That’s also why ALL our domestic enemies are screaming “Treason” right now — against Trump, with absolutely nothing to support it.
It's time.
You get paid to freep? How can we get on at your company?
It was intentional...not a “mistake”.
Ha ha ha. They sat on those indictments for months and months. Devin Nunesz was talking on Hannity last night about how even the media knew of these Russians months ago and the Fox guests were stating how suspicious the timing was.
The Deep State always times there actions to hurt or embarrass President Trump. It is Standard Operating Procedure.
lol, no I don’t get paid to Freeport...there is such a thing as a break and lunchtime
But the Intel Departments/DOJ/CIA/etc are the duly elected representatives of the People. They can do as they please and President Trump is required to report to them daily:-)
That’s okay. It’s working out as a pretense to investigate the money that was taken out of Russia and where it flowed to.
Bring it all out into the light.
Good for you. Less ethical people freep on company time. That irks me every time I see it.
“something that Rosenstein asked Trump if he should wait or release it? Trump said to release it.”
If he didn’t, that would be him “interfering” as they would coin it.
Exactly, he was put on the spot either way, however, I think it strengthened Trump’s hand. He knew that Rosenstein would have leaked it, or worse when he returned it would have looked worse.
The man is amazing. He does all the heavy lifting himself. Has no support for AG, Senate or House leaders. Fights media and the Dems.
Amazing.
And it could also be fully known by Trump. He was setting up the Fake Media outrage for the week.
And now it looks like some real progress is being made with Russia. Great.
Trump always gets more popular when he’s the underdog under an unjust attack. The Libs have awaken Deplorable animals. . . and a great many of them will vote in November.
mark
What mistake? It was done on purpose to negate any gains for Trump from his meeting with Putin.
But ho-hum. "Outrage fatigue" cuts both ways.
