Bill Maher began by asking Moore about the “Hail Mary” plan he supposedly had to prevent the replacement of Justice Anthony Kennedy.
“Listen, the Senate right now is 50-49. Sadly, McCain will not be able to vote, so it’s a 50-49 vote,” Moore declared. “C’mon! We’ve got to push it off til after November.”
“And I don’t trust every Democrat,” Maher told Moore.
“I’ll join a million other people surrounding the United States Capitol,” Moore responded. “I will stand there. I will put my- Bill, let me tell you something. If this judge goes through, for at least the rest of our lives, it’s a right wing court. That’s it. It’s over.”

Now when Ginsburg (85) and Breyer (80 in AUG) bow out, THEN it could easily go 2/1/6... but if/when a Dem wins in 2024, Thomas and Alito will turn 80 during that term, and the pendulum can easily swing back to 4/1/4 under the next President. That's not a "lifetime", fat boy. That's a POSSIBILITY of a firmly-Right court for about 3-7 years. Try toning down the hyperbole rhetoric for just a day.
I think right here, right now we have a wonderful opportunity to take all those "Yo momma's so fat" jokes and insert Michael Moore.

I’ve thought about the terminology.
“Originalist” might be the best description for the judges on Trump’s list. I think “conservative” is also acceptable, because the conservative approach to jurisprudence is to follow the original intent of the Constitution (or any law, for that matter).
Of course, the liberals are going to see things through their own biases, so they assume that everyone is going to act just like the liberals would, i.e., make judicial rulings simply to advance their political goals, rather than as an impartial umpire.
It’s like in “The Lord of the Rings.” Sauron could not imagine that the good guys would try to destroy the ring, rather than do what he would do — use it for selfish purposes.
Michael Moore needs to be careful. If he beaches himself in Washington DC, he may get pushed into the Potomac by well wishers trying to save him.
