Progressive millennial candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez beat New York Democratic incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley, a top ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, in a primary Tuesday night.
The Associated Press called the race at 9:52 with Ocasio-Cortez leading by 15 percentage points with more than 85% percent of precincts reporting.

Unfortunately, that’s a heavily Democrat district. Crowley’s pretty bad, but this woman’s even worse. Fortunately, I think Crowley is on a couple of the “minor” party lines. If he chooses to continue running, he is on the November ballot.
Getting rid of Crowley, even replaced by a full blown commie La Raza ho, is a MAJOR improvement. Crowley actually lived OUT OF STATE--in Virginia! How on earth can you be elected and hold the office (for several terms!) of Congresscritter and not even live in the state, let alone the district, you are elected to represent? It's a ghetto district and Crowley, a white guy as corrupt as can be, chose to live in a very nice NON-ghetto Virginia neighborhood. He used a NY address "in name only" just to meet the residency requirement but no way was he gonna live in da ghetto.

As for Woodside, I left 16 years ago and it already was a shithole. Had been for several years. I could not give a rat’s ass anymore about who or what happens to it.

Love you. I was born in Chicago, lived there and in the suburbs and worked there until 1971 when I left. Been in TN now for over 30 years and feel the same about Shitcago as you do about NYC.
