Texas got a little older and a little more diverse last year, data released Thursday from the U.S. Census Bureau shows.

Migration into the state, coupled with generally higher fertility among Latinos than in the non-Hispanic white population, has also driven an increase in the state’s Latino population, he said.
Texas added 234,000 Hispanic residents over the year, the most of any state, bringing the overall Hispanic population to roughly 11.2 million.
“We had projected that the Latino population would exceed the ... white population by 2020 and that’s probably not going to happen,” he said.
Based on the new trends, he said, he now expects Latinos to outnumber non-Hispanic white people in Texas by 2022.

News outlets cannot make up their minds. Some have said that whites are already a minority in Texas, while others say that it is yet to happen. The race-obsessed media cannot decide what is what.
Most Latinos I know here are pretty white in their actions. They work, care for their families, go to school, attend church, serve in the military. I don’t think they’re becoming the majority is instantly going to change everything. Remember, Texas was carved out of Mexico. They’ve been here from the start.
I am Hispanic and frankly I don’t care. I am pretty darn conservative and none of my more moderate views have anything to do with being Hispanic. I love taking surveys because I believe that I must be skewing the results.
When white hispanics are the perpetrators of crime, they are counted as whites. When they are victims they are counted as minorities.
The effect of unfettered immigration will eventually flip both Texas and Florida.
I think it depends upon the definition of “Hispanic”. If you are mixed, Hispanic and anglo, the census considers you Hispanic. Same is true for Asian/White and Black/ White mixed. You are considered a part of the minority group.
Am I wrong?
The word “Hispanic” is a very broad category.
What’s more important is the political tipping point... with so many California transplants in the last 10 years, it is now only a matter of time before we’re blue in a national election. All major cities have been pure blue for a decade or more.
Why are whites suicidal?
And this is the point.
I know there will be more white voters than hispanic voters in 2022, but we conservatives need to do a better job of EDUCATING our neighbors on why Christianity, capitalism and the Constitution are best.
I remember working for a campaign a very long time ago and my calls would be in Spanish to mostly Cubans & Puerto Ricans.
A lot of the old timers despised democrats and they hardly spoke a lick of English.
I’m not so sure of the younger generations now though.

They came into our country and now want to rule us. When did we say their opinion should count?

LOL I’m half Asian but absolutely American and lean to the right. I find it hilarious all the time my close friends still think to this day just because of my skin color I voted for Hitlery or obamatard. I never said anything to this point and avoid the topic..
