A federal judge ordered Paul Manafort to jail Friday after revoking the former Trump campaign chairman's bail.
Manafort appeared in court Friday after special counsel Robert Mueller asked a court to revoke Manafort's pretrial release conditions due to his alleged attempted witness tampering.
Mueller filed a superseding indictment against Manafort, who was already facing multiple charges related to financial crime, accusing him of obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Manafort has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

You have scores of criminal actors in this whole rotten mess and the one they jail is Manafort, whose supposed criminal FINANCIAL DEALINGS were more than a decade ago?
The takeaway here is: put a Leftist in the White House and the DOJ, FBI, CIA, on and on, will be coming for us all.

Not saying Manafort is a saint. He may be guilty as sin. But I been saying all along, they are setting new rules to the political game. Guilty or not, you’ll have to defend yourself in court if you join the ‘other side’. What’s good for the goose?

Our judicial system needs to be torn out by the root and curb stomped.
They pioneered this technique against Sarah Palin. She resigned because all the spurious ethics charges (which were routinely thrown out) were bankrupting her family.

Show trials. Mueller at a dead end. The FBI is a rotting corpse. I hope to goodness Mueller is steam-rolled once and for all.
From what I can tell, EVERYONE in DC considers Mueller a 4th branch of government with no checks and balances from the other branches. Or, if not a 4th branch, a government entity without limits other than his personal ethics. No elected representative is allowed to even criticize him, even if an unelected bureaucrat can theoretically provide oversight.
Mueller won’t need to burst into anyone else’s house in the middle of the night any more. He just needs to make sure they are aware of the Manafort situation before he walks up to them and asks them to sing/compose.
And yet Bill Clinton talking to Lynch was no problem at all.
Now would be a good time, with the report reflecting negatively on the FBI, or even when the last report comes out if it's not too far into the future, for Trump to say,
"Ya' know what? You've had your chance, Bob. You gave it your best shot and still nothing on Russian collusion. So, Bob have you given any thought as to what you'll be doing after you blow this popsicle stand when we close this thing down...effective immediately?
No better time to cut bait with Bueller than when the FBI and DOJ are being publicly criticized and humiliated in the IG report, about their efficacy and ability to uphold the law and to follow professional ethical standards.

If Trump is going to stop Bueller's circus, he needs to seize this opportunity when the FBI/DOJ are on their knees or at least while they're wobbling. Strike while the iron is hot.

The basis for his appointment is fraudulent and was issued by someone who is conflicted with the matter (Rodent).
