A three-day federal immigration sweep targeting convicted criminals in the U.S. illegally resulted in 162 arrests across Southern California, federal authorities said on Thursday.
Almost 90 percent of those arrested in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties had criminal convictions, while the rest were illegal re-entrants or immigration fugitives, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

This was not your your run of mill illegal working at chicken licken. These were targeted convicted criminals. You know, the real scary among them.
You could get that many in 1 hour just pulling over toyota trucks slowly driving down the 101 in the right lane that have a lawnmower in the back. 162 in three days around L.A give me a break very sad

It’s NO SECRET where the illegals are in California. Simply go to a few of the farms and construction sites, round up 1,000 or so, deport them, charge their employers, and others will get very scared and many illegals will go home on their own, and employers will start behaving a bit better.
Then get back to rounding up the felons.
Why haven’t they gone and picked up the California AG’s self-admitted illegal family? Too many people publicly tout things like this without consequences.
Yah, seriously. They could have arrested 16,200 in L.A. alone. Or maybe 162,000 in all of southern California.
Wake me up when they reach 162,000 per week.
I believe something like this was done in 1954 in “Operation Wetback”, under President Eisenhower.

Because Becerra’s family was given Amnesty by Teddy Kennedy in a trade with the Reagan Administration for a Wall/Border Security that never happened.
Lesson Learned...NEVER trust either a Kennedy nor a Democrat promise. Not even under a “Trust but Verify” scenario.

Exactly. I recall him saying they all had fake IDs and SS numbers, as that what illegals have to do to get work.
Headline immediately brings to mind the comment a legal immigrant stated when I said that avoiding jail time would assist with his job search. He stated ‘the jails in America are like the hotels in other countries.’ While not having been in jail, but having been in a few foreign hotels, I could not really argue with his facts.
If they hit the parking lots of Home Depot they could have got 162 in an hour and gone home.
