White Americans, Swing Voters in Battleground Districts: Immigration Has Made Life ‘Worse’

The majority of white Americans and swing voters in 2018 swing districts say that change has made life “worse” in the U.S.

In the latest CBS News/YouGov poll, nearly 60 percent of white likely voters who see changes in their neighborhood from mass immigration said that immigration made their community “worse.” Only 15 percent of these voters said immigration has made American life “better.” These likely voters live in swing districts which could be swayed towards either the Republicans or Democrats in the 2018 midterm elections.



Likewise, the majority of swing voters in swing districts say immigration has been a detriment to their community, rather than a benefit, as immigration is often described by the political elite.

More than 60 percent of swing voters who said immigration had changed their neighborhood told pollsters the change has made life in America “worse.” Less than 15 percent of swing voters said immigration had made their life “better.”

A FReeper got mad at me for knocking immigrants a while ago when I said they all have their countries and could go back at any time, but where is our country for us?

Turns out the USA belongs to the "world" and has been managed by the OWG/NWO gang. In a Lowes near my home they make Public Announcements over the store speaker system in Spanish. A year ago when I exited this Lowes I told the cashier I would NEVER be back - bad enough that I have to look at a store full of price signs in TWO languages, but I do not speak or understand any language than ENGLISH.

Immigration has made it worse - particularly chain migration. I own a home in a place that was a refuge for Holocaust survivors - educated people who taught in the schools and privately tutored. Since they’ve passed on, they’ve been replaced by Indians - many of whom are educated - who bring in their families that are straight off the Peasant Express. Then they'd have been barred. But they weren't barred. And they were probably checked for diseases before coming in. And they probably couldn't get welfare. And they probably worked, and learned English if they didn't already know it, or made sure their kids learned it. And depending on when they came here, there might have been a big old frontier to be built up at that time. Things are very different now.

Yeah, some of us are glad our ancestors got here. But that doesn't mean we have to continue to let everybody in, forever and ever. Just because you made it onto the Titanic's lifeboat doesn't mean you have to keep letting more and more people into the lifeboat until the whole lifeboat sinks and everybody on it dies.

I’ve noticed the demographics of my neighborhood here in MA change big time in the past 10 years.

Section 8 housing developments get pushed into nice quiet residential towns under a state law that mandates it, and before long the rot begins.

A few weeks ago I had to visit a town where I used to work. Most of the main street is boarded up now. I stopped in a convenience store because I needed something to drink and waited in line behind a man for whom English was obviously a second language. He was trying to buy lottery tickets with his EBT card and the cashier, for whom English was also obviously a second language, was trying to explain why he could not. His female companion, dressed in a way that would make Stormy Daniels nod in approval, stood by and watched as the baby in her stroller wailed.

I am pleased to remember what was, but saddened to see what's replaced it.

Illegal immigrant is much better than "undocumented alien" or other journalistic euphemisms.

However, none of these descriptions hit the nail on the head like criminal aliens which exactly describes these people. But, "they're not criminals. They're just looking for a home away from threats on their life," or some other nonsense. Anyone who enters out country uninvited is a criminal, period.

IMHO, immigrant vetting is the way to go. A quick interview lasting no more than 45 minutes should suffice.
