Charles Krauthammer, the beloved and brilliant Fox News Channel personality who gave up a pioneering career in psychiatry to become a Pulitzer Prize-winning political analyst, on Friday revealed the heartbreaking news that he is in the final stages of a losing battle with cancer.
The 68-year-old’s incisive takes on politics of the day have been missing from Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” for nearly a year as he battled an abdominal tumor and subsequent complications, but colleagues and viewers alike had held out hope that he would return to the evening show he helped establish as must-viewing. But in an eloquent, yet unblinking letter to co-workers, friends and Fox News Channel viewers, Krauthammer disclosed that he has just weeks to live.
“I have been uncharacteristically silent these past ten months,” the letter began. “I had thought that silence would soon be coming to an end, but I’m afraid I must tell you now that fate has decided on a different course for me.”

I lost my son a year and half ago from leukemia. I know the depth of walking to death’s door with him. He is in Glory... I pray for Krauthammer.
I hate cancer
We stopped watching all news awhile ago to avoid being in a state of perpetual outrage.
But, very sad to hear about Dr Krauthammer. He was dealt a difficult hand in life and managed it with true grace and dignity.
I can’t help but compare Dr Krauthammer, who having been hit with life’s cruelest blow, continues to carry on with courage, to Hillary. Hillary, to whom everything has been handed, but it’s never enough. Hillary, who will spend her final days a bitter, angry, whiny, drunken, unloved, classless, graceless hag.
Prayers up for Dr Krauthammer.

Yep, and I cannot EVER forgive ANYONE who was against Trump after he had wrapped up the nomination.
Just the level of PURE TYRANNY that the leftists on our courts, including the Supreme Court, allowed by the Obama Administration simply meant the end to the United States, as we know it...not even close. The only thing slowing Obama was the aging conservative judges placed on the courts by Republican president.
One term of Hillary would have sealed it for the Left. For example, Hillary virtually promised a full-scale Amnesty by Executive Order, along with voting rights - and she correctly knew that the courts would uphold it, based on how the liberals were behaving on the courts. The courts were not about to stop her on any major issue, and Congress would be left to whine and complain, while Republicans became a smaller and smaller minority. Conservatism would have simply been killed off...PERMANENTLY.
So sorry Charles, you picked the wrong side.

But... whatever. His “goodbye” letter was a classy way to sign off.
If anyone could persuade me to change my mind on an issue, it was him. He’s brilliant and honest. His arguments are always well-reasoned and compel you to sit up and consider what he’s saying. Unlike many pundits who you can dismiss the minute they open their mouths. Prayers up for him (I’m not going to say I’ll miss him because prayers can produce miracles!).
I am sorry to hear. May his remaining time be comfortable and meaningful. What a tough life the guy has had.
Character shows and obviously Charles Krauthammer has an abundance while Hillary was short-changed.
I believe that Hillary is a very sick woman, but is incapable of grace and dignity. She will pass and be quickly forgotten for a woman as selfish and self-centered as she that will be the greatest punishment of all. I relish the very idea.

That is so not true. The war against cancer will not be won suddenly, as in you won't wake up one day and see a headline 'Cancer has been cured'. Cancer is a series of bloody battles on a very wide front against a very diverse coalition. Before the war is won the tide will have to turn first, and to anyone who has been paying attention the tide already started to turn since the last three years. It's slow now but will pick up pace in the coming years. Ultimately it's the body's own T cells (immune warrior cells) that will declare victory over cancer.
