As long as the opportunity to profit from it exists, racial division(s) will remain.

Race is the big lie.
The divide is good vs evil. Well said, true, and bears repeating over and over. I hate liberals because of the bile they spew and their hypocrisy. If the racial divide becomes permanent, it is because of liberals sick evil mentality and abusive tactics that seek to divide rather than mend.

As long as the money is good the divide will stand.

Yeah, it’s permanent. And the black man will see to it. It’s currency for him.

“”The America of the 1960s, with its civil rights clashes and “long hot summers,” was a far more segregated society than today. Yet the toxic charge of “racist” is far more common now.””
Why do writers avoid stating the cause of this? Until obozo came on the scene, how many daily stories of blacks being oppressed did we see/hear? He sowed the seeds and cultivated the hatred we see today which is really the reason he was chosen, nominated and elected president. He carried the gasoline and tossed it on the fire and stood back to watch it burn..and enjoyed every minute of it. As he enjoys every moment of our discomfort living in what he destroyed.

“As long as the left pushes that agenda.”
I was living in Mississippi in ‘63-’64, in the belly of the beast so to speak. Height of the civil rights turmoil. Race relations were a beautiful thing to behold. I vouchsafe in saying far better than in the north. But then came the filthy, rotten, northern trouble makers from New York, New Jersey, Massachussetts etc. and everything went to hell. Same scenario played out in other southern states. However, to this day I think relations are far better in the south then in the wretched big northern cities.

It is if the Democrats have anything to say about it.

We are never going to have racial harmony as long as one group is so hyper sensitive that it takes offense at everything.

.... What is a Nation to do when only the Caucasian end of the equation is asked to do the changing and the other end of the equation is encouraged to only gripe and complain?

The Left has to keep the claims of a racial divide boiling. Race is their core defining belief. They know to a certainty they are not racist but that anyone who disagrees with them about anything is a racist. It is what gives them their sense of moral superiority over anyone who disagrees with them. It's why the issue did not get better with the first black president but got worse. There can never be unity and the problem can never be solved or the left would lose their core identity.
Racism is the ultimate sin in the liberal world view. It is why Roseanne has to be crucified while liberals who have said far worse things about conservatives can be forgiven.

Obama set national race relations back 50 years. We were doing a lot better back in the 1970s.
Good people, whites and blacks and others, know that we can heal the wounds, and are making efforts.

Hypersensitive black woman running ABC overreacted because she is hypersensitive. Nobody dared tell her this is a blunder because they didn't want her "Racist!" cannon pointed at them.
She should have taken a deep breath and talked to Roseanne first at the very least. This is what a professional would do. Throwing a fit like an outraged Ape is not the proper persona to project.

Victimhood has served many in this country well over the last 170 years. The divide will stop only when “victimhood” no longer works.

What do you suppose was their motivation for going down to Mississippi to stir up trouble? Couldn't they have worked on "Racism" problems in the very safe Democrat districts from which they came?
